Observation On The Curative Effect Of Embeding At The Beishu Point In The Treatment Of Post-stroke Depression Of Phlegm And Qi Stagnation

Objective : Observe the clinical effect of Beishu point embedding combined with conventional acupuncture in the treatment of patients with phlegm-qi stagnation typed post-stroke depression,and explore the practical value of Beishu point embedding in the treatment of this disease.Methods : The 60 patients with post-stroke depression that meet the inclusion criteria are divided into a treatment group and a control group according to the random number table,with 30 cases in each group.The control group is treated with conventional acupuncture,6 days a week with 1day of rest,which is a course of treatment.On this basis,the treatment group patients are embedded at the Beishu point after acupuncture on the first day of each course of treatment.After 4 courses of treatment,the Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD-24),Post-stroke Depression Scale(PSDS),Patient Health Questionnaire-9(PHQ-9),Activities of Daily Living(ADL)are compared between the two groups before and after treatment.The changes in scores are analyzed by statistical software SPSS25.0 to evaluate the clinical efficacy of Beishu point embedding combined with conventional acupuncture in the treatment of phlegm-qi stagnation typed post-stroke depression.Reasult:1、During the treatment process,the control group dropped out of 1 case,and finally 59 patients completed the treatment.Before treatment,the two groups of patients have no statistically significant differences in age,gender,stroke type,disease course,etc.(P>0.05),and they are comparable.2.Intra-group comparison: After treatment,the scores of each scale of the two groups are improved than before treatment,suggesting that the two schemes both have therapeutic effects on post-stroke depression of phlegm-qi stagnation type,and the difference is statistically significant(P<0.05).3.Comparison between groups: After treatment,the treatment group’s scores of the scales are better than those of the control group,and the difference is statistically significant(P<0.05).4.Statistics of total effective rate: the total effective rate of the treatment group is 83.3%,and that of the control group is 72.4%.The difference between the two groups is statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:1 、 Beishu point embedding combined with conventional acupuncture can reduce the scores of HAMD,PSDS,and PHQ-9 scales,relieve the depressive symptoms of post-stroke depression patients with phlegm-qi stagnation type,and the effect is better than conventional acupuncture.It shows that this method can be used to treat phlegm and qi stagnation typed post-stroke depression.2、Beishu point embedding combined with conventional acupuncture can improve the score of the ADL scale,help patients restore their ability of daily living and improve their qualities of life,the effect is better than conventional acupuncture.It is suggested that this method can help phlegm-qi stagnation typed post-stroke depression patients to recover their ability of daily living.
