Professor Xie Jingri’s Clinical Experience In Treating Constipation Predominant Irritable Bowel Syndrome

Objective:To collect and sort out the prescription data of Professor Xie Jingri in the treatment of constipation predominant irritable bowel syndrome(IBS),to conduct data mining and comprehensive analysis on Professor Xie Jingri’s prescription by using the traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance auxiliary platform,and to systematically summarize the tutor’s diagnosis and treatment ideas,so as to obtain the medication rules and treatment experience of treating constipation predominant IBS,and to guide clinical practice.Methods:From January 2016 to December 2019,145 patients with constipation predominant irritable bowel syndrome(IBS)who met the inclusion criteria of the study were collected,including name,gender,age,symptoms and signs,diagnosis of traditional Chinese medicine,diagnosis of Western medicine and prescription of traditional Chinese medicine.Input the "traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance assistant platform(v2.5)" system to mine and analyze the data,so as to explore Professor Xie Jingri’s clinical experience in treating constipation predominant irritable bowel syndrome.Result:1.The basic information statistics of medical records:the incidence rate of female is higher than that of male,the ratio of male to female is 1:1.63,and the age of onset is concentrated at 46-55 years old;results of symptom frequency:abdominal pain,difficult defecation,abdominal distension and dry stool were the main manifestations;results of syndrome type frequency:liver depression and qi stagnation syndrome was the most common.2.Results of drug frequency statistics:in 145 cases of medical records,13 drugs were used more tha 100 times,with a total frequency of 1703 times,which was Professor Xie Jingri’s high-frequency drugs for treating constipation predominant irritable bowel syndrome;drug classification results:the most frequently used drugs were Qi regulating drugs;meridian tropism results of four Qi and five flavors:The most commonly used five flavors were pungent,bitter and sweet,accounting for 88.01%of the total;the main channel tropism was spleen,stomach,lung,liver and large intestine,accounting for 82.06%.3.Commonly used drug combination results:Magnolia officinalis,Citrus aurantium;Bupleurum,Magnolia officinalis;Bupleurum,Citrus aurantium;Citrus aurantium,Betel nut;Atractylodes,Citrus aurantium,Citrus aurantium,Yu Liren;Bupleurum,Magnolia officinalis,Citrus aurantium;new prescription analysis results:12 pairs of core drug combinations in hierarchical cluster analysis,6 new prescriptions.Conclusion:1.Professor Xie Jingri’s most commonly used drugs in the treatment of constipation predominant irritable bowel syndrome include:Citrus aurantium,Magnolia officinalis,Bupleurum,Atractylodes,Betel nut,White cardamom,Yu Liren,Hemp seed,Shenqu,Tangerine peel,Scrophulariaceae,Perilla seed,Rhubarb.2.Professor Xie Jingri mainly used Qi regulating medicine in the treatment of constipation type irritable bowel syndrome,and used cold and warm,painstaking and harmonious,the drug belongs to the spleen,stomach two channels mostly.3.Professor Xie Jingri’s main method of treating constipation predominant irritable bowel syndrome is based on the Tong method,combined with the methods of invigorating spleen and transporting spleen,regulating liver and soothing liver,regulating lung and moi stening lung.
