Objective:This study is a meta-analysis,through the use of meta-analysis method,to evaluate the impact of traditional Chinese medicine on the survival time and quality of life of patients with ovarian cancer,to discuss the TCM diagnosis and treatment of ovarian cancer.Method:By using the method of evidence-based medicine,we searched the relevant databases manually including CNKI,WF,VIP,CBM and Pubmed. The retrieval time is from the establishment of the database to 2020.Objective to standardize the search process, and finally select the relevant randomized controlled trials(RCT)clinical research literatures about the effect of traditional Chinese medicine on the survival time and quality of life of ovarian cancer at home and abroad.Revman 5.3 software was used for meta-analysis.According to the heterogeneity test results, the appropriate effect model was selected.Odds ratio(or)or mean difference(MD)was selected as the outcome effect index.95% confidence interval(CI)was used to show the results.Result:A total of 13 articles involving 1328 subjects were included.Meta analysis:1.Survival rate: 1-year survival rate or = 2.23,95% CI[1.39,3.57],P = 0.0008;2-year survival rate or = 2.01,95% CI [1.05,3.86],P = 0.04;3-year survival rate or = 2.00,95% CI [1.14,3.52],P= 0.02;the difference was statistically significant.2.Survival: overall survival MD = 2.97,95% CI [1.61,4.33],P <0.0001;median survival MD = 4.46,95% CI [1.21,7.72],P = 0.007;progression free survival MD = 3.00,95% CI [2.66,3.34],P <0.00001;disease progression MD = 1.73,95% CI [1.26,2.19],P <0.00001;mean survival MD = 6.35,95% CI [5.82,6.87],P < 0.00001.3.Quality of life: KPS improvement rate or = 3.38,95% CI [1.83,6.26],P = 0.0001;KPS score MD = 7.67,95% CI [1.49,13.84],P =0.01,the difference was statistically significant.Conclusion:1.Traditional Chinese medicine can improve the survival rate, survival time and quality of life of patients with ovarian cancer.2.Traditional Chinese medicine optimizes the quality of life of patients by improving gastrointestinal discomfort, reducing bone marrow suppression and improving immunity,so as to achieve the therapeutic effect on ovarian cancer patients.
