Objective: To explore the effects of superficial subcutaneous injection around the areola and intra-areola injection on the sentinel lymph node imaging in the breast area, and analyze the factors that affect the sentinel lymph node imaging in the breast area, and formulate a more optimized scientific sentinel lymph node imaging program in the breast area. Methods: 84 breast cancer patients in our hospital from June 2018 to December 2019 were selected for sentinel lymph node imaging. They were randomly divided into a control group and an experimental group with 42 cases each. The control group used 0、3、6、9 direction subcutaneous superficial injection, the experimental group was injected into the glands at0、6 around the areola to compare the imaging rates of the sentinel lymph nodes in the axillary and internal breasts of the two groups of patients;According to the imaging of the two groups of patients, the correlation between the sentinel lymph node imaging and the patient’s age 、mass-related factors(number, size, location, pathological type, etc.)were analyzed. Results: Compared with the superficial subcutaneous injection around the areola, the sentinel lymph node of the internal milk injected into the glands around the areola has a higher imaging rate(P=0.043),and the superficial subcutaneous injection has a higher axillary sentinel than the intraglandular injection The imaging rate of lymph nodes, but the difference was not statistically significant(P=0.178).There was a significant correlation between age and sentinel lymph node imaging in breast area(P<0.001);while the number of tumors, tumor size, tumor location, pathological type were not related to sentinel lymph node imaging in breast area(P>0.05).Conclusion: The intra-areola injection method has a higher imaging rate of the sentinel lymph node of the internal mammary without affecting the imaging rate of the axillary sentinel lymph node.Age is an influencing factor for the development of sentinel lymph nodes in the breast area, especially for the detection of sentinel lymph nodes in the axillary area.At the same time, for intra-areolar injections, age will also affect the detection of sentinel lymph nodes in the breast.
