Objective : To evaluate the therapeutic value of duodenal minor papilla cannulation in patients without pancreas divisum. Methods : From September 2013 to December 2020,there were 8patients without pancreas divisum, including 3 cases of pancreatic pseudocyst,5 cases of chronic pancreatitis. Results : A total of 8 times of minor papilla cannulation were performed in 8 patients,7 cases were successful. The overall success rate of minor papilla cannulation was 87.5%(7/8).The needle-knife procedure is easier to perform via the minor papilla. One of them occurred stent blockage, and no related complications occurred in other patients. Conclusion:The endoscopic treatment through the minor papilla is feasible and safe for patients without pancreas divisum who are unable to deeply insert the pancreatic duct through major papilla for various reasons.
