Objective:To investigate the role of OGT in the development of NAFLD and T2 DM,as an early warning and evaluation of liver function damage.Methods A prospective cohort study was conducted in 75 patients(35 mild,27 moderate and 13 severe)with NAFLD diagnosed from January 2020 to August 2020 in the first affiliated hospital of Xi’an Medical College,76 patients with NAFLD and T2 DM were selected as the experimental group,and 76 healthy subjects after physical examination were selected as the control group.The serum OGT levels in the experimental group and the control group were measured by ELISA and analyzed statistically.Results1.The comparison between the control group and the experimental group(NAFLD group and NAFLD + T2 DM group)showed that there were no significant differences in age and sex between the two groups(P > 0.05),but there were significant differences in BMI,WC and SBP among the experimental group(p < 0.01)TC,TG,LDL,AST,ALT,GGT in the experimental group were significantly higher than those in the control group(p < 0.01).There was no significant difference in HDL-C(f = 0.46,P > 0.05),FPG,Hb A1 c,HOMA-IR,FINS in experimental group were higher than those in control group(p < 0.05).The levels of LSM and CAP in the experimental group were significantly higher than those in the control group(p <0.05).2.Among the NAFLD group,the severe and mild NAFLD compared,AST,ALT,GGT,TG,TC,HOMA-IR,LSM were significantly increased,and the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05);There was no significant difference in HDL,LDL,FPG,Hb A1 c,FINS,CAP(P>0.05).3.OGT levels compared,the experimental group OGT was significantly higher than that of the control group(P <0.01),and the difference was statistically significant;NAFLD + T2 DM group> NAFLD group,the difference is statistically significant(P<0.01);The difference between severe and mild and moderate NAFLD group was statistically significant(P=0.0000,P=0.0108),and the difference between mild and moderate was not statistically significant(P>0.05).4.Correlation analysis:NAFLD patients with OGT levels and BMI,WC,ALT,AST,GGT,HOMA-IR,Hb A1 c,FPG,TG,LDL-L,and LSM are positively related.Negatively related to HDL and TC.5.Tips for ROC curve results:OGT is less sensitive and more specific than CAP in predicting NAFLD.6.Risk factor analysis: Logistic regression analysis indicated that WC,AST,GGT,TG,FINS,LSM,OGT are the risk factors of NAFLD complicated with T2DM(P<0.05),and the regression coefficient of each variable is positive,which is positively correlated with T2 DM.Conclusion High serum OGT may be an independent risk factor for NAFLD.It is positively related to obesity,dyslipidemia,liver enzyme abnormalities and IR.It participates in and promotes the occurrence and development of NAFLD and concurrent T2 DM,and can be used for early warning,diagnosis,treatment and evaluation of NAFLD and T2 DM. |
