Medical Anthropology Research On The Multiple Medical System Of Ling Village In Youshui Basin Of Southeast Chongqing

Medical anthropology focuses on disease and culture,regards medical treatment as a cultural phenomenon,and emphasizes that only in a specific cultural context can we get a better understanding.Based on the fieldwork of Ling village,a Tujia village in Youshui basin of Southeast Chongqing,combined with relevant literature,this paper studies the phenomenon of multiple medical treatment in Ling village from the perspective of medical anthropology.This paper first describes the current situation of the coexistence of multiple medical services in Ling village,and analyzes the process and reasons of its formation and development.Then it focuses on the medical practice of three patients with chronic diseases as a clue to investigate the local medical system and treatment belief in Ling village,and then explains the cultural anthropological significance of the multiple medical system in Ling village.The article is divided into three parts: introduction,text and conclusion.The introduction part mainly expounds the academic value and practical significance of the topic,reviews the academic history and the research trends at home and abroad,and then introduces the main research content,ideas and research methods of the paper,as well as the description of the field work.There are four chapters in the text.The first chapter discusses the cognition and classification of diseases in Ling village,and points out that people in Ling Village divide diseases into serious diseases and minor diseases,body diseases and life diseases,self diseases and other diseases;the second chapter is an overview of the ethnography of the multi medical system in Ling village,and analyzes the historical process of the formation and development of the multi medical system in Ling village.The third chapter describes the practice process of multi medical treatment in Ling village with the disease narration of three people with chronic diseases;the fourth chapter focuses on the analysis of the internal structure and essence of multi medical treatment in Ling village,and points out that the local multi medical treatment has the characteristics of coexistence and competition.In the last part of the conclusion,the paper holds that the traditional multi medical treatment is not only shaped by economy and politics,but also the result of the diachronic and synchronic exchange of different medical culture;each kind of medical treatment has its corresponding disease knowledge,and also has its value and significance of existence;the multi medical treatment of Ling village not only complements and coexists,but also competes with each other,and constitutes the local culture of Ling village medicine knowledge.
