Observation On The Therapeutic Effect Of Acupoint Application With Two Different Formulations Of “winter Disease Treated In Summer And Winter ” In The Treatment Of Asthma

Objective: To observe the curative effect of acupoint application with different formulations of "Winter disease treated in summer and winter" in the treatment of asthma,and to explore a kind of application formula with exact curative effect and little skin reaction.Methods: According to the three principles of randomization,control and repetition,100 patients with bronchial asthma were randomly divided into two groups with 50 cases in each group.The two groups were treated with acupoint application of "Winter disease treated in summer and winter".Except for the different application formula,the other experimental methods were the same in the two groups.The changes of annual acute attack times of asthma,annual cold times,TCM syndrome score,asthma control test(ACT)score,asthma diurnal symptom score,asthma nocturnal symptom score and asthma quality of life questionnaire(AQLQ)score were observed before and after treatment in the two groups.The difference of skin reaction between the two groups after treatment was compared,and the relationship between curative effect and formula was analyzed.Results: after treatment,the number of acute attacks of asthma and annual colds in two groups decreased significantly(P<0.01).After treatment,the total score of TCM syndrome,the score of main TCM syndrome,the score of secondary TCM syndrome,the score of daytime symptoms of asthma and the score of nighttime symptoms of asthma in the two groups were decreased,with significant difference compared with before treatment(P<0.01).After treatment,the ACT score,AQLQ total score,AQLQ activity limitation score,AQLQ asthma symptom score,AQLQ psychological status score,AQLQ response to stimuli score,AQLQ care for their own health score of the two groups were increased,with significant difference compared with before treatment(P<0.01).It is suggested that acupoint application of "Winter disease treated in summer and winter" can reduce the number of acute attacks and colds in asthma patients,improve the clinical symptoms of asthma patients,and improve the quality of life of patients.The total effective rate of the control group was 88.0%,and that of the observation group was 86.0%.There was no significant difference between the two groups(P?0.05).There was no significant difference between the two groups in reducing the number of acute attacks of asthma and the number of colds(P?0.05).There was no significant difference between the two groups in reducing the total TCM syndrome score,the main TCM syndrome score,the secondary TCM syndrome score,the daytime symptom score and the night symptom score of asthma(P ?0.05).There was no significant difference between the two groups in improving ACT score,AQLQ total score,AQLQ activity limitation score,AQLQ asthma symptom score,AQLQ psychological status score,AQLQ response to stimuli score,AQLQ care for their own health score(P?0.05).It is suggested that there is no significant difference in the curative effect between formula 1 and formula 2.In terms of skin reaction,the scores of skin burning,itching,pain,erythema,blister and total skin reaction in the control group were higher than those in the observation group.There were significant differences in skin burning,itching,pain,blister scores and total skin reaction scores between the two groups(P<0.01),and there were also significant differences in skin erythema scores between the two groups(P<0.05).There were significant differences in skin burning,pain,erythema,blister scores and total skin reaction scores between the two groups(P<0.01).The difference of skin itching score between the two groups was also statistically significant(P<0.05).The results showed that the skin reaction of the control group was significantly stronger than that of the observation group,that is,the skin reaction of Formula 1 was significantly stronger than that of formula 2,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).Conclusion:(1)Acupoint application of "Winter disease treated in summer and winter" can improve the control level of asthma,reduce the number of acute attacks and annual colds,improve the clinical symptoms and improve the quality of life of patients.(2)Both of the two formulas of "Winter disease treated in summer and winter" acupoint application in the treatment of bronchial asthma would lead to skin reaction in patients,but the degree of skin reaction in formula 1 was significantly stronger than that in formula 2.(3)The two formulas of acupoint application of "Winter disease treated in summer and winter" have the same curative effect in the treatment of bronchial asthma.In order to pursue lighter skin reaction,formula 2 is worth promoting.
