objective:The aim of this study was to meta-analysis the effects of peripheral blood neutrophil/lymphocyte ratio(NLR),platelet/lymphocyte ratio(PLR),and lymphocyte/monocyte ratio(LMR)on overall survival(OS)and disease-free survival(DFS)of breast cancer patients before treatmentMethods:Relevant studies were systematically retrieved from the online Cochrane,MEDLINE,EMBASE and Web of Science,CNKI,CBM,Wan Fang Data and VIP databases published until December 2020.The literatures that meet the entry and excluded criteria were statistically analyzed by Stata12 software to evaluate the relationship between inflammatory indexes in blood routine and prognosis. The end points were overall survival(OS),disease-free survival(DFS).Meta-analysis was performed using hazard ratios(HR)and 95%confidence intervals(CI)as effect measures. Results:A total of 27 studies comprising 16809 BC patients were included in this meta‐analysis.Among them,18 studies investigated predicting role of NLR for DFS,showing elevated NLR were associated poor DFS([HR]: 1.75,95%[CI]: 1.409-2.174,P < 0.05).13 studies explored the role of NLR in predicting OS,showing elevated NLR was related to poor OS(HR= 1.764,95%CI : 1.356-2.295,P < 0.05).5 studies explored the role of PLR in predicting DFS,showing patients with higher PLR were associated with a worse DFS(HR= 1.670,95%CI:1.409-1.979,P<0.05).4 studies shown patients with elevated PLR were correlated with shorter OS(HR= 1.507,95%CI:1.230-1.846,P<0.05).7 studies investigated predicting role of LMR for DFS,showing elevated LMR was related to better DFS(HR=0.595,95%CI:0.48-0.73,P=0.000).4 studies explored the role of LMR in predicting OS,showing patients with higher LMR were associated with a favorable OS(HR=0.528,95%CI:0.37-0.76,P=0.001)。Conclusion:1 Elevated NLR was associated with poor OS and DFS for BC patients.2 Elevated PLR is associated with poor OS and DFS in patients with BC.3 The higher the LMR of breast cancer patients, the better the DFS and OS.4 NLR,PLR and LMR may be effective biological indexes to predict the prognosis of patients with breast cancer.
