Objective:To explore the effectiveness of psychological intervention in the form of aerobic exercise on sleep bruxism.Methods:1.A total of 36 undergraduate students in Shanxi Medical University were screened through the oral physical examination table and divided into a molar group of 18 and 18 people in the non-molar group.2.A total of 36 people in the molar group and non-molar group filled out the 90 symptom checklist(Symptom Checklist90,SCL-90)for 3 consecutive days before the intervention for psychological evaluation. The molar group used non-contact molar monitoring equipment and voice recorder to monitor molar teeth at the same time. The next one-week jogging aerobic exercise,3 times a week, each time more than 30 minutes, fill in the Induced Emotion Inventory(EFI)after exercise to ensure the effectiveness of the exercise, and the molar group is aerobic continue to monitor the molars within 3 days of the exercise. After aerobic exercise intervention, the molar group and the non-molar group filled out SCL-90 again for 3 consecutive days, and the molar group was monitored for molars at the same time;3.Statistical analysis used SPSS23.0 statistical software to analyze the results. The comparison between the molar group and the non-molar group adopted the independent sample t-test,and the intra-group comparisons(ie,before and after intervention in the molar group and before and after intervention in the non-molar group)employed the paired t test.Results:1.Comparing the molar group with the non-molar group, there was no statistical difference in interpersonal sensitivity, hostility, horror, paranoia, psychosis, and additional items(P >0.05).The factors of somatization,obsessive-compulsive symptoms, depression and anxiety in the sleep bruxism group were significantly higher than those in the non-molar group, and the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05);2.Before and after the aerobic exercise intervention, the bruxism group had statistical significance in somatization,obsessive-compulsive disorders, interpersonal sensitivity, depression, anxiety, hostility, paranoia, and additional items(P <0.05).The score after the intervention was obviously lower than that before the intervention. There was no statistical difference in horror and psychosis before and after intervention(P >0.05);3.Before and after the aerobic exercise intervention, the non-molar group had statistical significance in somatization,obsessive-compulsive symptoms, interpersonal sensitivity, depression, anxiety, hostility, horror, paranoia, and additional items(P <0.05).The points after the intervention were distinctly reducing than that before the intervention. The diversification of psychotic factor was no statistical discrepancy(P >0.05).4.During aerobic exercise, people in the molar group and the non-molar group had higher scores in the three projects of vitality, physical and mental calm, and active involvement, but lower scores in the physical fatigue item, and the discrepancy between the sleep bruxism group and non-molar group was no statistical discrepancy(P >0.05);5.After 1 week of aerobic exercise, molar frequency and average single molar time before intervention were greater than during intervention, and before intervention was greater than after intervention, there was statistical significance(P <0.05).During intervention, molar frequency and average single molar time were less than after intervention, there was no statistical discrepancy(P >0.05)。6.There is a significant positive correlation between changes in mental state and changes in bruxism activity(P <0.05),the worse the mental state, the more severe the symptoms of bruxism. The mental state change of patients with sleep bruxism mainly hinges on the degree of depression. The change of bruxism activity primarily depends on the index of molar frequency.Conclusion:1.Sleep obsessive-compulsive symptoms, depression, anxiety 4 psychological states significantly higher than healthy individuals;2.Aerobic exercise can be used as a form of psychological intervention to improve the mental state of patients with sleep bruxism;3.There is a significant positive correlation between the changes in the mental state of patients with sleep bruxism and the changes in the activities of bruxism.Psychological intervention methods in the form of aerobic exercise can reduce the frequency of grinding teeth and single grinding time.
