Effect Of Exercise Therapy On Patients After The Kidney Transplantation

Objective:To observe the effect of exercise therapy and explore the application in the patients after the kidney transplantation.Methods:Forty patients prepared for the kidney transplantation in the Department of Kidney Transplant Center,the First Affiliated Hospital,Anhui Medical University during June2020 to September 2020 were randomly assigned into two groups,each with 20 cases.All patients had received the health mission and care,the experimental group received the rehabilitation training composed of exercise therapy.Indexes like grip strength,grip strength endurance,two-minute walking distance,Borg scale,Modified Barthel Index,time in bed after surgery and mean post operation hospitalization duration were compared between the 2 groups.Results:Compared with preoperative levels,the grip strength,grip strength endurance,twominute walking distance and Modified Barthel Index of all patients at discharge were reduced,the Borg scale was higher than the preoperative level(p all<0.05),The predischarge grip strength,grip strength endurance,two-minute walking distance,Borg scale and Modified Barthel Index of the experimental group were better than the control group(p<0.05).The time in bed after surgery and mean post operation hospitalization duration of the experimental group were shorter than the control group(p<0.05).Conclusion:The exercise therapy can effectively reduce the decline of the muscle strength,endurance and cardiopulmonary function,relieve patients with weakness and fatigue,improve patients’ activities of daily living,and shorten the time in bed and mean post operation hospitalization duration.
