| ObjectiveTo analyze the correlation between the titer of Epstein-Barr virus(EBV)VCA-Ig M antibody and host immune status in children with infectious mononucleosis(IM).MethodsA total of 100 children with IM who were admitted to the pediatric ward of our hospital from September 2018 to June 2020 were selected as the research subjects and set as the experimental group.A total of 85 children were selected as the control group.The independent sample T-test was used to analyze the statistical differences between the non-specific immune responses(absolute number of monocytes,CD16+56 cells,C3,C4)and specific immune responses(CD19~+cells,CD4~+T cells,CD8~+T cells,CD4~+/CD8~+ratio,immunoglobulin A,G,M)of the children with IM and the control group.Pearson test was used to analyze the correlation between the titers of EBV VCA-Ig M antibody and various indexes in children with IM.According to whether the immune index value of children in the experimental group was greater than the mean value±2SD of normal children in the same age group,the children in the experimental group were divided into two groups:severe immune disorders group(92 cases)and non-severe immune disorders group(8 cases).Chi-square test was used to compare the differences in clinical manifestations between the two groups.Results1.Compared with the control group:CD19~+cells,CD4~+T cells and CD4~+/CD8~+ratio in IM children decreased,while CD8~+T cells,Ig G,Ig A and the absolute number of monocytes increased,with statistically significant difference(P<0.05).CD16+56 cells,Ig M,C3,C4 were not significantly different.2.The titer of EBV VCA-Ig M antibody was positively correlated with CD8~+T cells and the absolute number of monocytes.It was negatively correlated with CD4~+T cells and CD4~+/CD8~+ratio.There was no significant correlation with the time of specimen collection,the absolute number of lymphocytes,CD19~+cells,Ig G and Ig A.3.Compared with children without severe immune disorders,children with severe immune disorders were more likely to have pharyngitis and cervical lymph node enlargement.ConclusionAfter EBV infection,children with IM will have different degrees of immune disorders,mainly cellular immune disorders,and the degree of disorders is related to the titer of VCA-Ig M antibody of EBV.And the more severe the degree of immune disorders,the more prone children with pharyngitis,cervical lymph node enlargement. |
