| ObjectiveTo investigate the characteristics of thyroid function, iodine nutrition, and Tg in women of different gestation period in Hefei;to explore the range of UI/UCr and the value of Tg as an indicator of iodine nutrition in local pregnant women.Methods1)Participants A total of 93 pregnant women who underwent prenatal care in the obstetric outpatient clinic of the First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui Medical University between November 2018 and April 2019 were included.2)Research methods(1)Basic information(name, age, gestational week)of the patients was collected after obtaining informed consent, venous blood and urine samples were collected for measurement of TSH,FT4,and FT3,Tg,TPOAb,TGAb,UIC and UCR.(2)They were divided into the first trimester group(n=26),the second trimester group(n=31),and the third trimester group(n=36).TSH,FT4,FT3,UIC,and UI/UCR were observed and compared among the three groups.(3)To compare the relationship between Tg and UI/UCR under different iodine nutritional status.(4)Ninety three pregnant women were divided into two groups:those with UI/UCR<150μg/g(26 cases)and those with UI/UCR≥150μg/g(67 cases)and Tg was compared.(5)Statistical processing using SPSS 23.0 statistical.P<0.05 was statistically significant.Results(1)The UIC of 93 pregnant women was 114.6(72.05-167.4)μg/L and they were mildly iodine deficient according to the WHO criteria.(2)The UI/UCR in the first, second and third trimesters were 152.45(99.36-229.85μg/g、208.31(158.81-345.26)μg/g、220.59(160.77-307.74)μg/g.(3)The levels of FT4 and TSH were not statistically different among the three groups(P>0.05),and the levels of FT3 in the third trimester were decreased compared with the first and second trimesters(P<0.001).The SCH is low overall.(4)There was a correlation between Tg and UI/UCR(P=0.005),and no significant differences were observed for TSH and Tg in the UI/UCR<150μg/g group and the UI/UCR≥150μg/g group(P>0.05).Conclusion.According to WHO standard, pregnant women in this study are in mild iodine deficiency state, but the incidence rate of thyroid diseases is not high. The median UI/UCr is higher than that of iodine rich areas in China, suggesting that MUIC<150μG/l may not be suitable as the standard of iodine deficiency in local pregnant women.Compared with suic,UI/UCR is a more reliable indicator of iodine nutrition in pregnancy. There was a correlation between TG level and UIC/UCR level, and TG could be used as an auxiliary index to evaluate iodine nutrition level. |
