Research On The Development Of Medical Association Of Maternal And Child Health Hospital In X City From The Perspective Of Symbiosis Theory

Objective: To investigate the current status of the construction and development of the medical association of the Maternal and Child Health Hospital in X city,and to analyze the existing problems in the development and the causes thus providing reasonable countermeasures and suggestions for promoting the construction and development of the medical association of maternal and child health hospitals.Methods: The research adopts the method of combining theories with empirical evidences.First of all,through consulting the literature,knowledge about the current research status of domestic and overseas medical association and the application of symbiosis theory were acquired,which provided the corresponding basis for the research of this paper;secondly,through the observation method and the in-depth interview method,field investigation of the medical association was carried out,the current status of the medical association was observed and comments about the medical association made by the medical staff were obtained.Interviews were conducted on the staff of the leading organizations and members of the medical association as well as the management staff of the maternal and child health hospital,so as to understand the operating status of the medical association.Finally,the interview materials were analyzed with the analytical method of theme frame and in-depth research on related issues was performed.Results: Through the investigation,it is acknowledged that certain achievements has been made by the medical association in terms of medical resource sinking,resource sharing,two-way referral and personnel training,but there are also many problems.Combining the symbiosis theory,it is found that the medical association has the following problems in its operation:(1)The development of the medical association was hindered by the insufficient capacity of the symbiotic units,which was manifested in the insufficient capacity of the member hospitals and the limited resources of the leading hospital;(2)The symbiosis relationship was too loose and benefits were distributed unevenly to the symbiotic units,which was reflected in the lack of contact between the symbiotic units and the uneven distribution of benefits;(3)The symbiotic environment was unmatched and the development of the medical association was lagging behind,which was indicated in the poor implementation of government policies and insufficient government finance input,lack of system in the association,weak awareness of symbiosis of the leaders and low public participation,etc.;(4)The symbiosis interface was not perfect and the function of the carrier was not given into full play,which was reflected in the lack of information platform,the low utilization rate of remote system,failure to take advantage of the management committee and poor implementation of outreach efforts,etc.Conclusion: On the basis of in-depth analysis of the causes of the problems,suggestions were proposed for promoting the healthy and sustainable development of the medical association,namely:(1)Enhance the capacity of the symbiotic units and jointly promote the development of the symbiosis system;(2)strengthen the internal collaboration within the medical association to establish a reciprocal symbiosis relationship;(3)Create a positive symbiotic environment and strengthen the supporting policies;(4)Establish a sound symbiosis interface to adapt to the symbiotic development model.
