| BackgroundThe sequelae of stroke patients are mainly limited limb movement,early intervention,early treatment and early intervention can effectively improve the rehabilitation effect of motor function.Early rehabilitation of upper limb motor function is not yet recovered,and motor training is difficult to carry out.The introduction of motor imagery intervention will contribute to the motor function rehabilitation of stroke patients.With the progress of the rehabilitation process,it is necessary to carry out the gross exercise training of the proximal forearm and upper arm,and then extend to the distal part of the hand function fine motor rehabilitation.Motor imagery is closely related to motor execution,and it involves motor functional areas and prefrontal cortex.Motor imagery can change the brain activation mode and cause cerebral blood flow response.Objective1.Explore the similarities and differences of brain activation characteristics between exercise execution and exercise imagination in upper limb coarse and fine exercise.2.To study the classification of brain activation patterns of coarse and fine exercise in exercise execution and exercise imagination.MethodIn this paper,elbow flexion of the right upper limb is selected as the rough exercise task,and finger pointing and grasping of the right index finger-thumb is selected as the fine exercise task.In this study,20 healthy subjects were recruited to perform these three kinds of exercise tasks(pointing,grasping and elbow flexion),and the corresponding brain oxyhemoglobin(Hb O)concentration was collected by using functional near infrared spectroscopy(f NIRS)technology,and the mean,slope and area characteristics of Hb O concentration curve were extracted to study the influence of exercise imagination and exercise execution on the activation pattern of prefrontal lobe and motor area.Based on the extracted characteristics of HBO concentration curve,logistic regression was used to establish and classify the classification model,which can provide reference for upper limb rehabilitation training using brain computer interface(BCI)technology.Result1.The motor execution of fine motor of right upper limb is similar to the brain activation pattern of motor imagination.The mean value of HBO concentration curve showed that the activation of prefrontal lobe and motor area by motor imagination and motor execution was similar;However,the activation degree of motor area was higher than that of prefrontal cortex when performing fine movement,while the activation degree of two brain areas was similar when performing gross movement,which indicated that the overall activation of two brain areas was affected by the type of movement.The slope of HBO concentration curve showed that the motor area was activated faster in gross and fine than in prefrontal cortex;Motor imagination and motor execution activation speed is close,and in fine and coarse motion performance is consistent.The results of HBO concentration curve area analysis showed that the total changes of HBO in motor area were mostly higher than that in prefrontal lobe,which means that both gross and fine movements will lead to strong overall changes of brain activation pattern in motor area;However,the total change of HBO in elbow flexion was significantly higher than that in motor imagination,which indicated that the total change of brain activation pattern in gross motor was higher than that in motor imagination,but the total change of motor imagination and execution in fine motor was similar.2.There is a certain separability between motor imagination and motor execution in gross and fine motion.Using logistic region to establish the binary classification model,the classification accuracy of motor imagination and motor execution in gross and fine motion is more than 70%,which has a certain separability.It can provide a new choice for rehabilitation training and peripheral control of patients with unilateral stroke.ConclusionThe results of brain activation patterns and classification of motor imagination and motor execution in the gross and fine movements of upper limb indicate that the activation patterns in the prefrontal cortex and the motor area have both similarities and differences.The activation situations of motor imagination and motor execution brain regions in fine motor are similar,while the total change amount of brain activation mode in gross motor is greatly affected by motor execution.In motor rehabilitation,motor execution is preferred for gross motor,while for fine motor rehabilitation,motor imagination has a similar brain activation pattern as motor execution.Therefore,when the fine motor function has not been restored,the use of motor imagination may be conducive to the corresponding motor function rehabilitation.Considering the effect of gross and fine motor on the activation pattern of prefrontal cortex and motor area during motor execution,the overall performance was high activation intensity of motor area.Therefore,when exercise training is available,motor intervention should improve the rehabilitation effect. |
