Objective:To compare the effect of the Bioperfectus multiplex real time(BMRT)HPV assay for self-sampling and Clinician-sampling,and to explore the feasibility of the BMRT HPV assay for self-sampling in cervical cancer screening. Methods:A total of 2003 women who underwent two cancer screening were enrolled in dexing city of Jiangxi Province from November 2019 to December 2019,to investigate perceptions of self-sampling HPV testing, from them 1894 eligible women were enrolled, conducting Clinician-sampling and Self-sampling,the Clinician-collected samples were stored and transported in liquid, while the self-collected samples in solid or liquid, the samples were detected by BMRT HPV assay, comparing the consistency of HPV types and viral load of all three samples with different sampling methods or storage methods, comparing the consistency of the number and types of HPV positive cases, which were HSIL+or LSIL by self-collected samples and Clinician-collected samples.Results:(1)Age≥60 years old,low education level, and preference for clinician-sampling HPV testing were all the influencing factors for low cognition of self-sampling HPV testing among rural women in Jiangxi Province.(2)Among the 14common hr HPV types, the top five HPV positive rates were 52,16,58,68 and39,respectively.The positive rate of 14 high-risk HPV types in self-collected samples was 11.65%(212/1819),while in Clinician-collected samples was 12.04%(219/1819).Among the self-collected samples, the positive rate of solid-transporting samples was11.53%(146/1255),while liquid-transporting samples was 11.93%(66/533).The difference of three groups was not statistically significant(x~2=0.189,P=0.910).(3)The total HPV Viral load(single type and two or more types of HPV infection)in self-collected samples was significantly more than that in Clinician-collected samples(median:5733.5,2073.6),and the difference between two groups was statistically significant(Z=-4.123,P=0.000).Among the self-collected samples, the total HPV Viral load in solid-transporting samples and liquid-transporting samples was 9985.2,3535.1,the difference between two groups was statistically significant(Z=-3.317,P=0.001).(4)HSIL+group all 18 cases,HPV were positive in Clinician-collected samples, while 16 cases were positive in self-collected samples. The HPV types of the 16 HPV-positive cases were basically the same in self-collected samples and Clinician-collected samples.10 cases were HPV16 positive in both samples(single type or mixed infection).LSIL group all 20 cases,HPV were positive in self-collected samples and Clinician-collected samples, and the HPV types were basically the same.7 cases were HPV16 positive in both samples(single type or mixed infection). For the same,7 cases were HPV52 positive,5 cases were HPV58positive.There was not statistically significant difference for the number and types of HPV positive cases in colposcopy patients, comparing self-collected samples and Clinician-collected samples. Conclusion:The effect of the BMRT HPV assay for self-sampling and Clinician-sampling is similar,It can be used as a primary screening program for cervical cancer.
