An Analysis Of The Risk Factors Of Severe Disease Of Corona Virus Disease 2019

Objective:To analyze the clinical data of 192 patients with Corona virus disease2019(COVID-19)in the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University,and to explore the risk factors of COVID-19 severity.Methods:A collection of 192 patients who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria who were admitted to the Xianghu District of the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University from January 21 to February 19,2020,were divided into non-severe group(125 cases)and severe group(67 cases).To compare and analyze the clinical information of the two groups of patients,such as age,gender,underlying diseases,first-onset clinical symptoms,and laboratory examinations on admission.Single-factor and multi-factor Logistic regression analysis methods are used to assess whether the factors with statistical significance are independent risk factors for the severity of COVID-19,and the receiver operating characteristic curve is used to evaluate the value of related independent risk factors in predicting the severity of COVID-19.Results:The LYM,ALB,LDH,CD8~+cell counts were significantly different in the comparison between the non-severe group and the severe group(P<0.05).Univariate and multivariate logistic regression analysis suggested that LYM,ALB,LDH,and CD8~+cell counts could be independent risk factors for severe COVID-19patients(P<0.05).The receiver operating characteristic curve of the subjects showed that the area under the curve for LYM,ALB,LDH,and CD8~+cell counts alone to predict the severity of COVID-19 were 0.801[95%CI(0.735～0.867)]、0.869[95%CI(0.814～0.925)]、0.864[95%CI(0.813～0.916)]and 0.718[95%CI(0.639～0.797)],combined with four factors,the area under the curve for predicting the severity of COVID-19 is 0.930[95%CI(0.895～0.966)].Conclusion:LYM,ALB,LDH,and CD8~+cell counts can all be used as independent risk factors for predicting the severity of COVID-19,and all have good predictive value;The four combined indicators of LYM,ALB,LDH,and CD8~+cell count are more valuable in predicting the severity of COVID-19 than a single indicator,and have higher application value.
