| Objective:To compare the efficacy and safety of transurethral laser and traditional transurethral resection for non muscle invasive bladder cancer(NMIBC).Methods:We searched Pub Med database,EMBASE database,Cochrane Library,Chinese biomedical literature database,VIP medical database and Wanfang database for eligible literatures. The related contents include randomized controlled study of transurethral laser and transurethral resection for non muscle invasive bladder cancer. The outcome indicators concerned were operation time, hospital stay, bladder irrigation time, indwelling catheterization time, postoperative complications and tumor recurrence.Complications included obturator nerve reflex, bladder perforation, bladder irritation and postoperative urethral stricture.Review Manager5.3software was used for meta-analysis of the data extracted from the eligible studies. Results:A total of 17 literatures were included in this study, all of which were RCT studies, with a total of 2206 patients. Our analysis showed that the laser surgery group was superior to the traditional electric resection group in terms of postoperative hospital stay, indwelling catheter time, bladder irrigation time, obturator nerve reflex, incidence of bladder perforation and postoperative tumor recurrence rate, and there was no significant difference in operative time and postoperative urethral stricture between the two groups. Conclusion:Compared with the traditional electric resection, transurethral laser surgery has the advantages of fast postoperative recovery, less complications and low tumor recurrence rate, which is a better choice for surgery. |
