Objective:To explore the independent prognostic factors of patients with uterine sarcoma,and construct a nomogram model to predict the 5-year overall survival(OS)of patients with uterine sarcoma.Methods:The clinical data of patients diagnosed with uterine sarcoma from 2010 to 2015 in the "surveillance,epidemiology and end results(SEER)" database were collected for analysis,and a total of 3261 eligible patients with uterine sarcoma were included.Kaplan-Meier method is used for univariate survival analysis and multivariate COX regression analysis to determine the independent prognostic factors of patients with uterine sarcoma.And use R software to draw nomogram.Calculate the consistency index(Harrell’s C)of the nomogram model to verify the prediction accuracy of the model,and evaluate the accuracy of the model by drawing a calibration curve.And use receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve to evaluate the reliability of the prognostic model of uterine sarcoma.Results:The results of univariate survival analysis showed that age,race,tumor size,Whether surgery,degree of pathological differentiation,histological type,lymph node metastasis,and the International Association of Gynecology and Obstetrics(Federat-ion International of Gynecology and Obstetrics,FIGO)staging were statistically significant Significance(all P<0.05).Multivariate Cox regression analysis showed that age,race,tumor size,degree of pathological differentiation,Whether surgery,and FIGO staging are all independent prognostic factors for the prognosis of patients with uterine sarcoma.A nomogram was constructed based on the results of the COX regression analysis,and the Harrell’s C index was calculated to be 0.775.The calibration curves for 3-year and 5-year overall survival were close to the ideal curve.The area under the ROC curve(AUC)for 3-year and 5-year overall survival was 0.81 and 0.809,respectively.Conclusion:Age,race,tumor size,surgical,degree of pathological differentiation,and FIGO staging are all independent prognostic factors for uterine sarcoma.A nomogram was developed based on these independent prognostic factors.The prediction model can better predict the prognosis of patients with uterine sarcoma.Provide certain help to clinicians for the survival,prognosis and personalized treatment of patients with uterine sarcoma. |
