Objective: To analyse the characteristics of critical pregnant women transferred to ICU,and to explore the indications of critical pregnant women transferred to ICU.Methods: To collect the basic information,medical history,vital signs,blood test,treatments and outcomes of patients reported as critical pregnant women from July 1,2011 to December 31,2018 in the south campus of Shanghai general hospital,with SPSS software for statistical analysis.Results: From July 1,2011 to December 31,2018,there are 226 people,including 158 transferred to the ICU,accounted for 69.9%,reported as critical pregnant women in the south campus of Shanghai general hospital.The average age is 30 years old with 25.31 kg/m2 for average BMI,and 46.2% of them have regular prenatal examination.First-time mothers accounted for 31%.Cesarean section is the main way of termination,with 11 days in hospital and 4 days in ICU.The main diagnoses is obstetric hemorrhage for 27.8%,gestational hypertension disease for 23.4% and severe infection for 12.7%.The average number of organ damage was 1.83,and the most organ damage was liver function damage,accounting for 58.3%.One person died and 84.8% was discharged as prescribed by the doctor.Conclusion: Most of the critical pregnant women transferred to the ICU are young pregnant women,mainly due to obstetric factors,with less organ damage and better prognosis.We recommend to reducing the ICU stay of patients with obstetric complications and transfer the patients with nonobstetric complications to ICU early when necessary.Multiple Disciplinary Team is essential.
