The age of depression and suicidal behavior show a younger trend, which our country attaches particular importance to,and specially promulgated the "explore the characteristic service program for the prevention and treatment of depression",in order to strengthen the prevention and treatment of depression and maintain the physical and mental health of the people.Compared with heterosexual groups, sexual minorities face greater social pressure and discrimination, and their physical and mental health problems deserve people’s attention. The purpose of this study is to explore the influence of gender role conflict and internalized homonegativity as risk factors on depression level, and to explore the protective and buffering effect of self-concept clarity on depression level. In order to further explore the impact of gender role conflict on depression in sexual minorities, this study attempts to clarify the role and mechanism of internalizing homosexual aversion and self-concept clarity through the construction of a moderated mediation model. In this study,we used the gender role stress scale, internalized homonegativity scale,self-concept clarity scale and self rating Depression Scale to conduct a questionnaire survey on gays, lesbians and bisexuals in sexual minorities through online and offline platforms.665 valid questionnaires were collected, including 280 males,385 women, including 363 homosexuals and 302 bisexuals.SPSS and its macro program process were used for descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, difference analysis and moderated mediation model test. The results are as follows:1.Bisexual and homosexual have moderate level of internalized homonegativity.2.The existence orientation difference and gender difference in the dimension of internalized homonegativity, the internalized heterosexual orthodoxy is significantly lower than bisexual, while the identity of family orientation and social orientation is significantly higher than bisexual. The identity of internalized homosexual orthodoxy in females is significantly higher than that in males, while the identity of family orientation in males is significantly higher than that in females.3.There are gender differences in gender role conflicts.Male homosexuals are significantly lower than male bisexuals in male gender role conflicts, while lesbians are much higher than female bisexuals in female gender role conflicts.4.Gender role conflict is positively correlated with internalized homonegativity and depression, while self-concept clarity is negatively correlated with gender role conflict, internalized homonegativity and depression.5.internalized homonegativity plays a partial mediating role between gender role conflict and depression.Gender role conflict can influence depression through internalized homonegativity.6.The moderating effect of self-concept clarity between gender role conflict, internalized homonegativity and depression has gender differences in sexual minorities.Self-concept clarity has a significant moderating effect on the relationship between male gender role conflict and depression, and self-concept clarity has a significant moderating effect on the relationship between female gender role conflict and internalized homonegativity. The results suggest that the clarity of self-concept can alleviate the negative effect of gender role conflict on depression through internalization of aversion, and this protective effect is more effective in women.
