Objective: By grouping the different treatment methods of the side branches in the single stent strategy for true coronary bifurcation lesions, and compared the safety and effectiveness of the two surgical methods immediately and in the short-term and longterm after surgery,so as to explore a better side branch protection technology and accumulate experience for percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI)for bifurcation lesions. Methods: In this study,a total of 164 patients with true bifurcation lesions diagnosed by coronary angiography from March 2019 to February 2020 in our hospital who underwent PCI using a single stent strategy were enrolled, and they were divided into two groups according to different side branch protection methods: And the experimental group carried out a jailed balloon technique, and the control group carried out a jailed wire technique, and collected general data, clinical biochemical data and PCI related information, the incidence of adverse cardiovascular events and the results of coronary angiography at 9-12 months postoperatively. Results: There was no significant difference between the two groups in baseline and preoperative data of PCI(p> 0.05),The duration of operation, radiation and contrast agent dose in JBT group were all lower than those in JWT group. In the JBT group, the minimum lumen diameter of the side branches immediately after PCI was larger than that of the JWT group, and the maximum stenosis degree was smaller than that of the JWT group,The incidence of intraoperative chest pain, slow blood flow or no reflow and side branch occlusion in JBT group was lower than that in JWT group; The level of cardiac troponin I 48 hours after operation in JBT group was lower than that in JWT group. The incidence of perioperative angina pectoris in JBT group was less than that in JWT group.Coronary angiography at 9-12 months after surgery showed that the minimum lumen diameter of the sidel branches in the JBT group was larger than that in the JWT group, the maximum stenosis degree was smaller than that in the JWT group, and the incidence of side branch occlusion in the JBT group was lower than that in the JWT group, with significant differences in the above results(p < 0.05).Conclusion: JBT showed better safety and efficacy in protecting side branch both immediately and in the near and long term after surgery compared to JWT.
