Meta-analysis-based Study On The Efficacy And Safety Of Budesonide Combined With Montelukast In The Treatment Of Bronchial Asthma In Children

Objective:Explore the efficacy and safety of budesonide combined with Montelukastin the treatment of bronchial asthma in ch ILdren,and to provide clinical basis for treatment.Method:Search in major databases by computer.The search scope includes CNKI,Wanfang Database,Weipu Database,Pub Med,Cochrane Library,and EMbase databases.The retrieval time is from the establishment of the database to December 2020.Then reject the documents that do not meet the requirements,extract and collect the data of the final included documents,and make the basic characteristics table of documents.Then,using Revman 5.3 software,the outcome index is drawn into a forest map,and the literature is combined and analyzed.Result:Results A total of 31 literatures were included,including 3612 ch ILdren,including 1809 ch ILdren in the experimental group and 1803 ch ILdren in the control group.The results of meta-analysis showed that compared with the control group,the wheezing time and cough time of budesonide combined with Montelukast group were(MD=-1.9,95%CI=-2.57～-1.23,P<0.00001)and(MD=-1.55,95%CI=-2.18～-0.93,P<0.05)95%CI=-2.25～-1.21.P<0.00001),and the respite time was shorter(MD=-1.46,95%CI=-1.85～-1.08.P<0.00001),IL-6:SMD=-1.1,95%CI=-1.71～-0.5,P<0.00001,IL-17:SM D=-1.88,95%Cl=-2.57～-1.18,P<0.00001)Immunoglobulin(Ig E:SMD=-5.62,95%CI=-8.1～-3.13,P<0.00001)Immune cells(CD4~+:SMD=-7.02,95%Cl=-9.92～-4.11)The incidence of cough(OR=0.59,95%CI=0.24～1.48.P=0.256)was not statistically significant.The hoarseness(OR=0.73,95%CI=0.36～1.47.P=0.38)was not statistically significant.Pharyngeal discomfort(OR=0.32,95%CI=0.12～0.85,P=0.02)was statistically significant.Nausea and vomiting(OR=0.77,95%Cl=0.19～3.16,P=0.72)were not statistically significant.Diarrhea(OR=0.0.6,95%CI=0.14～2.52,P=0.48)was not statistically significant.Skin flush(OR=0.75,95%CI=0.16～3.38,P=0.7)was not statistically significant.Asthma(OR=0.28,95%CI=0.07～1.17,P=0.08)was statistically significant.Conclusion:Based on the existing research,budesonide combined Montelukastcan relieve the clinical symptoms of bronchial asthma,improve the quality of life,reduce the level of inflammatory cells and improve the immune function,and it is safe and worthy of popularization and use.However,due to the low quality of the included research,the above conclusions need to be verified by higher quality literature.
