As the supersegment information attached to the segmental components,speech prosody plays an important role in the expression of functional language.The abnormality of speech prosody not only reduces the expressive function of the speaker’s own speech,but also is not conducive to the listener’s understanding of the semantics and emotions of the sentence.However,there is still a lack of tools for evaluating children’s speech prosody function that have reference standards and have been validated by reliability and validity.Therefore,it is very urgent to develop assessment tools for children’s speech prosody function.To this end,this research has compiled a "Children’s Speech Prosodic Function Assessment Tool" suitable for the context of Mandarin Chinese,and applied this assessment tool to children with hearing impairment.The specific results are as follows:Study 1: Development and standardization of assessment tools for children’s speech prosody function.First,develop a tool for evaluating children’s speech prosody function.Based on the theory of speech prosody,with reference to the research results of children’s speech prosody function at home and abroad,drawing on the widely used and systematic speech prosody evaluation tool PEPS-C abroad,and combining the evaluation and intervention experience and needs of clinicians to determine The assessment framework,compilation principles and assessment content of Mandarin Chinese Children’s Speech Prosody Assessment Tool are presented.The evaluation results of speech prosody function of 15 ordinary children of different ages were randomly selected to verify the reliability and validity of this evaluation tool.The results showed that the scorer reliability>0.9,the copy reliability>0.9,and the content validity>0.8.The evaluation tool developed in this study can be used for the evaluation of children’s speech prosody function.Second,simplify the assessment content.In order to ensure the clinical spreadability of the assessment tool,after many discussions by the expert team,it was simplified based on the principle of compiling the full version of the assessment tool.From each test task of the assessment tool,8 and 12 questions are extracted respectively to form 2 sets of simplified assessment tools,and then the correlation analysis with the original assessment tools is carried out.The research results show that the assessment tool is based on 8 questions can also effectively measure the performance of children’s speech prosody,and the assessment time for different age groups has been shortened by about 1/3 to 1/2 minutes.Therefore,this study finally selected an assessment tool with 8 questions on each test task as a simplified version of the assessment tool for children’s speech prosody function.Finally,establish a reference standard.Using "Children’s Speech and Prosody Function Assessment Tool <Simplified Version>" to evaluate 90 ordinary children,comparing the effects of gender and age on the assessment results,it is found that gender has a smaller effect on the assessment results,while age has a greater effect.As a result,the reference standards for the assessment tools of children’s speech prosody function of different ages have been established.Study 2: The application of children’s speech prosody function assessment tools in hearing impaired children.Using "Children’s Speech and Prosody Function Assessment Tool <Simplified Version>" to analyze the speech and prosody function characteristics and error types of hearing-impaired children.Results:(1)In terms of prosody function,the performance of hearing-impaired children on various test tasks of speech prosody function lags behind that of ordinary children(only the difference in the scores of the three test tasks of interactive input form,emotional output form and emotional output function is not significant,the scores of the remaining 13 test tasks are significantly lower than ordinary children);(2)In terms of input form,the error types of hearing-impaired children are mainly concentrated in the chunking input form and the focus input form;(3)In input Functionally,compared with other task types,the two types of children have difficulty in hearing and recognizing two chunks of phrases,disliked emotions,interrogative tone,and different accent positions;(4)In terms of output function,The error types in the chunk output function mainly include "slightly longer pause time"(13.35%)and "unobvious pause time"(6.67%);the error types of the emotional output function are mainly like emotional expression insufficient(16.7%)and dislike emotional expression Insufficient(10%);the error types of the interactive output function mainly include insufficient expression of the interrogative tone(18.33%)and the incorrect expression of the interrogative tone(22.5%);In the error type of the focus output function,the occurrence rate of insufficient expression of accent is higher(The stress at the beginning of the sentence was 16.67%,the stress at the middle of the sentence was 16.67%,and the stress at the end of the sentence was 18.89%);(5)In terms of output form,the types of errors of hearing-impaired children on various test tasks were basically consistent with the output function.The innovations of this research are:(1)Develop a set of children’s speech prosody function assessment tools that are in line with the characteristics of Mandarin Chinese and have strong clinical spreadability;(2)Discuss the differences in speech prosody function between hearing-impaired children and ordinary children.And the wrong type of speech prosody function of hearing-impaired children.
