| Purpose: Cerebral aneurysm is a common disease in neurosurgery.Subarachnoid hemorrhage caused by rupture of cerebral aneurysm has a higher mortality and disability rate. The incidence of cerebral aneurysms ranks third among patients with cerebrovascular accidents, ranking after cerebral thrombosis and hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage.Climatic factors are an important reason for the rupture of intracranial aneurysms, but the relationship between temperature changes and the incidence of rupture of intracranial aneurysms has not been accurately evaluated. This retrospective study based on Chinese Multi-center Aneurysm Database aimed to determine the relationship between temperature changes and the incidence of aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage(a SAH).Method: Based on the multi-center brain aneurysm database, this study collected 14 tertiary A hospitals from Tianjin Medical University General Hospital,Hebei Medical University Second Affiliated Hospital,Linyi Central Hospital and other hospitals from January 2016 to December 2019 Of cases of ruptured cerebral aneurysms. The clinical data of 785 patients with ruptured cerebral aneurysms were analyzed retrospectively.Obtain the temperature information on the day of the disease and the day before the disease through the weather channel of the weather network. The temperature information includes the daily maximum temperature, minimum temperature and average temperature.Chi-square test of goodness of fit was used to evaluate demographic characteristics, and Spearman rank correlation analysis was used to evaluate the correlation between air temperature and the number of cases of ruptured aneurysms.Chi-square test was used to evaluate the relationship between the cooling rate and the number of patients with ruptured aneurysms. The cooling rate is the highest temperature on the day before the onset minus the lowest temperature on the day of the attack.1-5℃,6-10 ℃,11-15 ℃ three intervals.Result: The occurrence of ruptured cerebral aneurysms has a seasonal trend, with more people in autumn and winter, and the highest incidence in January(P = 0.001).The daily incidence of a SAH is negatively correlated with daily average temperature, daily maximum temperature, and daily minimum temperature(P <0.001),that is,the lower the temperature, the higher the probability of rupture of cerebral aneurysm. When the temperature drop is greater than 10 ℃,the number of cerebral aneurysms in winter is significantly more than in summer. Conclusion: Through the analysis of ruptured aneurysm cases in the multi-center cerebral aneurysm database,it can be concluded that there are a large number of cases in autumn and winter. The lower daily average, daily maximum, and daily minimum temperature are related to the increase in a SAH incidence. When the cooling rate is greater than 10 ℃,the number of ruptured cerebral aneurysms in winter is significantly more than in summer.Such a result will have certain reference significance for the future development trend of the patients with unruptured cerebral aneurysms and the formulation of clinical treatment plans. |
