Objective Alzheimer’s disease(AD)is a major disease that endangers the physical and mental health of the elderly and impairs their quality of life.Studies have found that in the early stages of alzheimer’s disease, there is a progressive state of mild cognitive impairment, knowned as Mild Cognitive Impairment(MCI).MCI is an important clinical symptom in the early stage of dementia, which is an intermediate state between normal aging and dementia. In recent years, the basic screening of MCI in the elderly population has gradually become a priority project in the public health field of elderly health. 1.The purpose of this study was to investigate the incidence and distribution of mild cognitive impairment among senior intellectual elder in Tianjin.2.this study was to explore the influencing factors of mild cognitive impairment.3.The purpose of this study is to provide the necessary scientific basis for relevant departments to formulate the policy concerning the elderly. Methods This study was designed for investigation. The method of convenient sampling was adopted, and the inclusion and exclusion criteria for subjects were established.A total of 2105 senior intellectual elder were selected from the physical examination department of a top three hospitals in Tianjin during January 01,2018 to June 31,2018.In the questionnaire part, after obtaining the informed consent of the subject of investigation,we explain the purpose and value of the research in detail, and also introduced the contents of the questionnaire and notes on questionnaire answering. In this study,one-to-one interview was used to complete the survey. In the physical examination data part, directly extracted data from the hospital physical examination system data-base by ID number. The survey tool used in this study was the questionnaire on the basic conditions of the senior intellectual elder and the influencing factors of cognitive ability.Montreal cognitive assessment scale(Mo CA)was performed to measure cognitive function.Epi Data 3.0 software was used for data entry during data collation and analysis. After the data was verified,spss22.0 software was imported for data processing and analysis. The results were described by(mean ± standard)、 rate(%)and constituent ratio(%),Chi-square test、 T test and Logistic regression analysis were used for statistic analysis.Test level α=0.05.Results1.Scores of Mo CA and rate of MCI The average score on the Mo CA for the senior intellectual elder was(26.81±1.85),Scores ranged from 18 to 29.1,703 people in the sample scored ≥26points,accounted for 80.90%,402 people scored <26 points, accounted for 19.10%.2.single factor analysis for MCI According to Chi-square test,In socio-demographic factors, senior intellectual elder men(21.82%)had a higher detection rate of MCI than women(13.38%),The difference had significant difference,χ2 =21.23,P<0.01.There was no significant difference among other factors.Among lifestyle factors、physical activity factors、interest factors, there was no significant difference among those factors.Among biochemical factors, the abnormal triglyceride group(22.00%)had a higher detection rate of MCI than that of the normal group(17.62%),and The difference had significant difference,χ2 =5.84,P<0.01.There was no significant difference among other factors.3.multiple-factor analysis for MCI The detection of MCI was used as the dependent variable, the above social demographic factors、lifestyle factors、physical activity state、interest、biochemical indicators were used as the independent variables,we ran a Logistics regression analysis.Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that female gender(OR=0.29,OR 95%CI =0.42~0.70),non drinking wine(OR=0.63,OR 95%CI=0.40~0.99),abnormal triglycerides(OR=1.34,OR 95%CI =1.09~1.71)entered the regression model.Conclusions1.The detection rate of MCI among the senior intellectual ilder in tianjin was19.10%,which was relatively low compared with the elderly population in thedomestic community.2.Female and non-drinking wine was a protective factor for the detection of MCI,while abnormal triglycerides was risk factor.3.In public health programmes to prevent and control dementia in the elderly, emphasis should be placed on lifestyle factors. The intervention strategy with improving the lifestyle of the elderly as the priority could achieve more effective intervention effect.
