The Clinical Observation Of Xingqi Huatan Fang Combined With Chemotherapy For Middle And Advanced Non-small Cell Lung Squamous Cell Carcinoma

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of Xingqi Huatan Fang combined with "gemcitabine + cisplatin"(GP)in the treatment of middle and advanced non-small cell lung squamous cell carcinoma,and to evaluate its impact on TCM symptoms,quality of life,KPS score,tumor markers,toxic and side effects,it will provide a clinical basis for the popularization and application of Xingqi Huatan Fang.Methods: This trial used a prospective,randomized contaol method for clinical research,Collecting patients with lung squamous cell carcinoma treated in the Oncology Department of Henan Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Henan Provincial Cancer Hospital from December 2018 to January 2020.Then,sixty-four patients who met the criteria were randomly divided into the experimental group and the control group.Mainly observe the changes of TCM symptoms,quality of life,functional status score(KPS score),tumor markers and toxic and side effects.Results:1.TCM symptoms: After treatment,the two groups decreased compared with before(P<0.05),the experimental group had a more obvious decline(P<0.05).Patients taking Chinese medicine for cough,sputum and dilute feces are more effective,and the improvement rate in the experimental group was also higher than that in the control group.But there was no significance in hemoptysis(P>0.05).2.KPS score: The KPS scores of the two groups were statistically significant after treatment,and the experimental group has advantages over the control group(P<0.05).Through the KPS score,patients in the experimental group can live a better independent life.3.Quality of life: The two groups of patients had statistical significance in fatigue and pain after treatment(P<0.05);The experimental group had more advantages in improving nausea and vomiting(P<0.05),The control group had no statistical significance(P>0.05),and this symptom could not be effectively improved after treatment.4.Tumor markers: After CEA and SCC treatment,the patients in the control group and the experimental group decreased than before(P<0.05);There was no statistical significance in CA125 before and after treatment(P>0.05).The comparison between the two groups showed that the two groups had no statistical significance in CEA,SCC and CA125.5.Toxic and side effects: The experimental group had differences in white blood cells,hemoglobin,liver and kidney function compared with the control group(P<0.05),however,there was no significant difference in platelet and neurotoxicity between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion: Compared with the chemotherapy alone,the combination of Xingqi Huatan recipe and GP regimen can reduce the symptoms of cough,expectoration,fatigue,pain,nausea and vomiting in patients with lung squamous cell carcinoma,which has certain advantages in improving the TCM syndromes,improving the quality of life,improving KPS score and reducing the side effects.There is no significant difference between the experimental group and the control group in tumor markers.
