Study On The Clinical Characteristics And Curative Effect Of Vertigo Patients With Geotropic Positional Nystagmus

Objective The lateral semicircular canal benign paroxysmal positional vertigo(LSC-BPPV)is generally characterized by horizontal positional nystagmus.In this subject,according to the temporal characteristics of the nystagmus of patients with terrestrial position nystagmus,according to the time characteristics of their nystagmus,a controlled study was conducted on patients with transient terrestrial position nystagmus and persistent terrestrial position nystagmus.Analyze the scope of application and expected therapeutic effect of manual reduction therapy on different types of terrestrial nystagmus.Methods According to the Roll displacement test,there were 150 patients with transient horizontal nystagmus and a total of 120 cases of continuous horizontal-position nystagmus(direction-changing positional nystagmus,DCPN),all of which were included in this study.All patients were reset by Barbecue roll-over treatment by the same professional,continuously observing the patient’s curative effect immediately after receiving treatment and 1 week later,using the 2017 benign paroxysmal positional vertigo diagnosis and treatment guidelines,BBS scale score and timing balance Test to evaluate the efficacy.Results Immediately after the reset treatment for the transient nystagmus group,the total effective rate was 91.33%,for the continuous nystagmus group was 13.33%,and the results of the BBS scale and timing balance test for the transient nystagmus group were higher than those for the continuous nystagmus group.Significantly improved,the difference between the groups was statistically significant;1 week after treatment,patients in the continuous nystagmus group showed a significant improvement,with a total effective rate of 92.50%.The results of the BBS scale score and timing balance test were significantly improved,compared with the short-term Compared with the nystagmus group,the difference was not statistically significant.Conclusions According to the duration characteristics of nystagmus,clinical vertigo patients with terrestrial positional nystagmus can be divided into short-term DCPN and continuous DCPN.Short-term DCPN patients have good effect using manual reset,and continuous DCPN patients have immediate effect of manual reset The response is not good,but you can still try to reset this type of patient.There is a 10% chance of immediate cure.For patients who cannot be immediately effective,it is recommended to observe for 1 week.Most patients have obvious symptoms within 1week improve.
