Objective:This study applies Comfort Nursing Care to college students who donate blood for the first time,the purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of comfort nursing on anxiety,comfort,pain,satisfaction with nursing service,incidence of adverse reactions and willingness to donate blood again after blood donation,in order to improve the nursing measures in the process of blood donation,enhance the first experience of blood donation,improve the enthusiasm of blood collection nurses,and promote the wider application of comfortable nursing model to provide useful reference.Methods:A total of 216 students who were involved in blood donation in a university group in Zibo were assigned numbers and divided into two groups:Control Group and observation group by random number table and random number remainder grouping,the students in the control group were given routine care,while the students in the observation group were given comfort care,the self-rating anxiety scale,comfort scale,pain numerical scale,nursing service satisfaction questionnaire and blood donation intention questionnaire were used to investigate the subjects.The data were analyzed and described by SPSS25.0.Results:1.Before intervention,the scores of self-rating anxiety scale(SAS)of the Observation Group and the control group were(39.770±4.115)and(40.390±4.192)respectively,there was no significant difference(P>0.05);2.After intervention,the scores of self-rating anxiety scale(SAS)in the Observation Group(32.770±4.576)were significantly higher than those in the Control Group(37.760±5.560)(t=8.905,P<0.05);3.After intervention,the GCQ score(90.440±2.942)of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the Control Group(76.960±2.965)(t=8.557,P<0.05);4.After intervention,there was significant difference in the degree of pain between the Observation Group and the Control Group(Z=2.655,P<0.05),and the scores of the observation group and the control group were(1.70±1.12)and(2.07±1.40)respectively,the difference was statistically significant(t=2.809,P<0.05);5.After intervention,1.86%of the observation group and 6.48%of the control group had significant difference(χ2=9.000,P<0.05);6.After intervention,94.44%of the students in the observation group were satisfied with nursing service,compared with 87.96%of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(χ2=212.019,P<0.05);7.After intervention,there was significant difference between the observation group and the Control Group(χ2=7.330,P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Comfort nursing can alleviate the anxiety and negative psychological state of college students during their first blood donation;2.Comfort nursing can improve the comfort condition,reduce the degree of pain,reduce the incidence of blood donation reaction,improve the satisfaction of nursing service,and improve the willingness of blood donation again,ensure the supply of blood for clinical treatment;3.Comfort nursing can be applied to the whole process of blood donation nursing of college students who donate blood for the first time,which is worth popularizing.
