Objective:The aim of the study was to describe the vitamin A,D,E status of children in Nanchong.We hoped these results can provide basic data for Big Database and references for pediatrician,and prepare the ground for more researches exploring the relationship between vitamin A,D,E and process of pathophysiology.Method:Our study included the children who had visited child health care department of several hospitals in Nanchong from January 2018 to April 2020,and whose medical records were collected.All the data consisted of name,gender,age,the date of laboratory examination.We described the vitamin A,serum 25(OH)D,E status by statistical analysis and discussed the differences in gender,age,season when laboratory sample inspected.Result:1.The mean values of vitamin A,D,E were within normal range.20.5%children suffered from vitamin A marginal deficiency,and 1.2%for vitamin A deficiency.The percentage of vitamin D insufficiency and deficiency were 6.4%and 0.9%,respectively.Only 5.5%children had vitamin E insufficiency.2.Girls had a higher risk of vitamin D insufficiency and deficiency than boys.3.Autumn had more proportion of vitamin A marginal deficiency and deficiency.The percentage of vitamin D insufficiency and deficiency was higher in spring and winter.4.The prevalence of vitamin A marginal deficiency and deficiency was higher in infant group and school-age group.The prevelence of vitamin D insufficiency and deficiency increased with age.Conclusion:1.Most of abnormal vitamin A samples were marginal deficiency.Vitamin D deficiency didn’t account for large proportion.No vitamin E deficiency was diagnosed.2.Girls should take vitamin D supplementation seriously.We should pay more attention to regular supplementation of vitamin D in spring and winter,and vitamin A for autumn.Children under 10 years should prevent from abnormal vitamin A.Children 3 years and older should take note of vitamin D supplementation,especially 6 years and older.3.It wasn’t recommended that routine examination concluded vitamin E laboratory inspection in child health care department.
