Objective:The aim of this study was to compare the expression level of serum HBD-1、HBD-2、LL-37 in patients with acne vulgaris and healthy controls, and to study the difference of serum HBD-1、HBD-2、LL-37 in patients with acne vulgaris of different severity,so as to further understand the pathogenesis of acne vulgaris and provide new help for the treatment of acne vulgaris with antimicrobial peptides. Methods:Collect acne vulgaris patients who attended the Dermatology Clinic of the Affiliated Hospital of North Sichuan Medical College from May 2020-October 2020,the sifting into standard samples of 79 cases, and the patients were classified according to the Pillsbury four-level international modified classification method Divided into three groups:mild, moderate, and severe. At the same time,30 cases of routine health examination in our hospital were collected as the control group. There was no statistical difference in age and gender between the two groups.Respectively to extract acne vulgaris patients and healthy controls peripheral venous blood 2 ml,and detect the expression levels of serumHBD-1、HBD-2、LL-37 by ELISA.Results:(1)The expression level of serum HBD-1 in the acne vulgaris group was higher than that in the healthy control group, and the difference was statistically significant(225.93±6.85pg/ml vs 188.27±1.74pg/ml,P<0.05).The expression level of serum HBD-2 in the acne vulgaris group was not statistically different from the healthy control group(93.51±2.39 pg/ml vs 96.88±0.89 pg/ml,P>0.05).The expression level of serum LL-37 in the acne vulgaris group was higher than that in the healthy control group, and the difference was statistically significant(1952.43±52.09pg/ml vs 1779.77±26.53 pg/ml,P<0.05).(2)There was no significant difference in the serum HBD-1 expression level of acne vulgaris mild group, moderate group, and severe group(231.72±9.29pg/ml vs 207.57±11.74 pg/ml vs 245.78±14.86 pg/ml,P>0.05).There was no significant difference in the serum HBD-2 expression level of acne vulgaris mild group, moderate group, and severe group(95.51±3.78 pg/ml vs 91.01±3.82 pg/ml vs 94.29±5.36 pg/ml,P>0.05).After comparing the expression levels of serum LL-37 in the mild, moderate, and severe groups of acne vulgaris,it was found that the expression level of serum LL-37 in the severe group was significantly higher than that in the moderate group, and the difference was statistically significant(2154.27±90.76pg/ml vs 1769.86±50.82pg/ml,P<0.05),and there was no statistical difference between the mild group and the moderate and severe groups(2007.16±106.09pg/ml vs 2154.27±90.76pg/ml,2007.16±106.09 pg/ml vs 1769.86±50.82 pg/ml,P>0.05).Conclusion:The expression levels of serum HBD-1 and LL-37 in patients with acne vulgaris are higher than those in healthy controls, and the expression level of serum LL-37 in patients with acne vulgaris is correlated with the severity of acne to a certain extent. |
