ObjectiveObjective to explore the effect of Taijiquan training on fatigue degree,motor function and life activity ability of patients with post-stroke fatigue,so as to provide an effective traditional Chinese medicine treatment method for the rehabilitation of patients with post-stroke fatigue.MethodsA prospective,randomized controlled trial design was used to select 56 eligible patients with post-stroke fatigue.They were randomly divided into two groups.The treatment group was treated with routine rehabilitation training+Taijiquan training intervention,and the control group was treated with routine rehabilitation training+free activity intervention,with 28 cases in each group.Taijiquan training and free activities were once a day,30 minutes each time,5 times a week,a total of 4 weeks of intervention.Before intervention,2 weeks after intervention,and 4 weeks after intervention,fatigue severity scale(FSS),multidimensional fatigue catalog(FMI-20),stroke specific quality of life scale(SS-QOL)and Fugl Meyer motor function scale(Fugl Meyer motor function scale)were measured,FMA,modified Barthel Index(MBI)and Berg Balance Scale(BBS)were used to evaluate the patients.The data were managed by Excel software and analyzed by spss22.0 statistical software.All statistical tests were performed by two-sided test,with P<0.05 as the difference was statistically significant.ResultsThere was no significant difference in the basic data of the two groups before intervention(P>0.05),and the baseline of the two groups was the same.In the treatment group,the score of FSS decreased gradually with the change of time.The difference of FSS score before intervention,FSS score after two weeks and FSS score after 4 weeks of intervention were statistically significant(P<0.05).In the control group,according to the statistical results,the FSS score of the subjects did not change significantly.There was no significant difference between the two at the three time points(P>0.05).After two weeks of intervention,FSS score of treatment group was lower than that of control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);After 4 weeks of intervention,FSS score of treatment group was lower than that of control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The main effect of FSS score time was compared at different time points(before intervention,2 weeks after intervention and 4 weeks after intervention),P<0.05,the difference was statistically significant.In the treatment group,with the change of time,the scores of MFI-20 and SS-QOL decreased gradually,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).In the control group,with the change of time,the MFI-20 and SS-QOL scores of the subjects did not change significantly,and there was no statistical significance in the pairwise comparison of the three time points before intervention,2 weeks after intervention and 4 weeks after intervention(P>0.05).After 2 weeks of intervention,there was no significant difference in MFI-20 score and SS-QOL score between the two groups(P>0.05);However,after 4 weeks of intervention,there were significant differences in MFI-20 score and SS-QOL score between the two groups(P<0.05),and the scores of the treatment group were lower than those of the control group.There were significant differences in MFI-20 score and SS-QOL score at different time points(P<0.05).In the treatment group and the control group,with the change of time,the MBI score of the subjects gradually increased,and there were significant differences between the two groups at three time points.With the change of time,MBI score of the two groups gradually increased,and there was no significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05).There was significant difference in the main effect of MBI score at different time points(P<0.05).In the subjects receiving sitting training,the main effect of FMA score group was not significant(P>0.05),and the difference was statistically significant at different time points(P<0.05).For the BBS score,in the treatment group,the pairwise comparison of the three time points had statistical difference(P<0.05),and the BBS score gradually increased;In the control group,there was no significant difference in the BBS score before and 2 weeks after the intervention(P>0.05),but the BBS score before and 4 weeks,2 weeks and 4 weeks after the intervention was significantly higher than that before(P<0.05).The main effect of BBS score at different time points was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in FMA score between the two groups(P>0.05).There was significant difference in the main effect of FMA score at different time points(P<0.05).The main effect of group factors on BBS score was not statistically significant(P>0.05),but the change of BBS score in the two groups was basically the same.The difference of BBS score time main effect at different time points was statistically significant(P<0.05).ConclusionTaijiquan training can relieve the clinical symptoms of patients with post-stroke fatigue and reduce the degree of fatigue;Sitting Tai Chi training can improve the balance function of patients after stroke. |
