Guidance And Analysis Of Clinical Practice In Measuring Density Of Cystic Lesions Of Maxillofacial Bone

Objective:The density value of different jaw diseases was measured by MIMICS software according to the low density image of CBCT middle jaw,and the related disease density database was established,and compared with the results of postoperative pathological tissue examination.Discuss the application value of MIMICS software in preoperative density measurement and evaluation of maxillary lesions,and provide reference for preoperative diagnosis and surgical treatment of maxillary lesions.Methods:From January 2018 to January 2021,123 patients with jaw disease were selected as the subjects.Among them,82 cases of jaw cysts,31 cases of ameloblastoma and 10 cases of other diseases.The CBCT images taken before operation were introduced into the MIMICS software for three-dimensional reconstruction and processing,and the density of the lesion tissue and the density range of different types of diseases were measured,and the data were statistically analyzed.Comparing the imaging density value CBCT each case with the nature of intraoperative lesions and the degree of consistency with postoperative pathological diagnosis,the corresponding diseases and their statistical significance were analyzed.Results:Using MIMICS software to measure images CBCT cystic diseases of the maxillofacial region,Among them,the mean density of 90%confidence of mandibular cyst was-104.15～167.28;maxilla was 28.61～282.98;Enameloblastoma-586.06～118.99,statistically significant(P<0.001).Second,The average density of ameloblastoma<mandible<maxilla,statistically significant(P<0.001).Final maxillofacial cystic disease 90%confidence average density is-91.2～251.98,statistically significant(P<0.001).The coincidence rate between preoperative analysis of cystic lesions of maxillofacial bone and postoperative pathological findings was over 90%,statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:By Using MIMICS software to measure and analyze the preoperative density of jaw lesions,it has the reference function of preoperative qualitative analysis and surgical method selection.It has certain clinical significance for the preoperative diagnosis and evaluation of jaw lesions,and is worth further popularizing.
