Clinical Study Of Yiqi Huoxue Fang On Prevention Of Postoperative Delirium In The Aged Hip Fracture Patients

ObjectiveThis research through the perioperative application of yiqi huoxue fang compared with blank control group,observe two groups of elderly hip fracture patients with postoperative delirium occurring differences,in order to investigate yiqi huoxue fang for prevention of elderly hip fracture patients postoperative delirium clinical effect,for the elderly hip fracture patients with perioperative application provides the basis for promotion.MethodsA total of 70 elderly patients who received intramedullary nail internal fixation for femoral intertrochanteric fracture or hemiarthroplasty for femur neck fracture in Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from March 2020 to February 2021 were selected.The included patients were randomly divided intotreatment group and control group by random number table method,with 35 cases in each group.Both groups were treated with surgery under lumbar anesthesia.The treatment group was given internal administration of Yiqi Huoxue Decoction in perioperative period on the basis of the control group.The other perioperative treatment schemes were the same in the two groups.The incidence of postoperative delirium,DRS score of delirium severity and the hemoglobin content of 1 day before surgery,1 day after surgery,3 days after surgery,and 6 days after surgery in 2 groups were counted,and the clinical effect of Yiqi Huoxue prescription on preventing postoperative delirium in elderly patients with hip fracture was evaluated.ResultsAge,gender,body mass index,Complications,fracture type,operative time,intraoperative blood loss and blood transfusion volume were comparable between the two groups,and there was no statistical significance between the two groups(P>0.05).The incidence of postoperative delirium was 25.7%in the observation group and 48.6%in the control group.The incidence of postoperative delirium in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P=0.048).The mean DRS score in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P=0.046),suggesting a lower degree of delirium.In addition,the Hb in the treatment group was significantly higher than that in the control group on the 6th day after surgery(P=0.046),and there were no statistical differences on the 1 day before surgery,1 day after surgery,and 3 days after surgery.ConclusionPerioperative application of yiqi huoxue Fang can effectively reduce the incidence and severity of postoperative delirium in elderly hip fracture patients,improve anemia and shorten the length of hospital stay.
