Objective: To explore and analyze the species of bacteria and fungi in the nasal cavity and sinuses of patients with Chronic rhinosinusitis(CRS)in Xinjiang and the results of drug sensitivity. In order to provide theoretical guidance for the clinical use of antibiotics in CRS patients in this region. Methods: A total of 184 patients with CRS who were hospitalized in this area from March 2019 to December 2020 were collected.Under nasal endoscopy, mucous secretions near the maxillary sinus orosis or in the middle nasal meatal were obtained with sterile cotton swabs, and then immediately sent to the laboratory at room temperature for bacterial culture, isolation and drug sensitivity identification. Results: a total of 151 strains of bacteria were cultured, the positive rate of bacteria culture was 80.32%,gram-positive bacteria accounted for 77.48%,most of which were staphylococcus epidermidis and staphylococcus aureus.Gram-negative bacteria accounted for 18.54%,and Klebsiella pneumoniae,Pseudomonas aeruginosa and acidogenic Klebsiella were more common.Drug sensitivity test showed that gram-positive bacteria had high resistance rates to penicillin, clindamycin, phenoxacillin, erythromycin and chloramphenicol, while gram-negative bacteria had higher resistance rates to erythromycin and ampicillin, and had different degrees of sensitivity to other antibiotics.A total of 7 species and 14 strains of fungi were cultivated, most of which were Aspergillus. In order to avoid the abuse of antibiotics, drug sensitivity tests were not performed on the above strains due to the widespread existence of fungi in nature. Conclusion: The secretion culture results of 184 cases of CRS showed that gram-positive bacteria were more common, and staphylococcus epidermidis was more common. The results of this culture indicated that the common strains had drug resistance.preoperative pathogen culture and drug sensitivity test should be performed on CRS patients with sinus secretions in advance, and antibiotics should be used accurately according to the culture results.
