Clinical Study Of Shanghai Style Pediatric Massage In The Treatment Of Children With Tourette Syndrome (Spleen Deficiency And Hyperactivity Of Liver Type)

ObjectiveThis study applied Shanghai style pediatric massage in the treatment of children with Tourette’s syndrome(spleen deficiency and hyperactivity of liver type),analyzed the unique advantages of Shanghai style pediatric massage in the treatment of children with Tourette’s syndrome,clarified its clinical value,and provided objective clinical treatment basis.Methods68 children with Tourette’s syndrome who met the inclusion criteria in the outpatient department of massage and pediatric outpatient department of Foshan Hospital of traditional Chinese medicine from February 2020 to December 2020 were selected as the research objects.They were randomly numbered as "ear point pressing beans + Shanghai style pediatric massage" treatment group(34 cases)and ear point pressing beans control group(34 cases).In the process of clinical research,7 children were treated as shedding cases(3 children in the treatment group did not complete 3 courses of treatment,4 children in the control group failed to cooperate with the treatment due to poor compliance.In order to balance the data,8 children did not participate in the data statistics).Finally,there were30 children in the treatment group and 30 children in the control group.The two groups were treated for 12 weeks under the same routine basic treatment.The Yale comprehensive tic severity scale(YGTSS)score and TCM syndrome score before and after treatment were recorded.After collecting and sorting the research data,the statistical analysis was carried out with spss25.0 software.According to the statistical analysis results,the clinical treatment effect of the two groups was evaluated in detail.Results(1)Baseline comparison: before treatment,the general clinical data(gender,course of disease,age)and observation indexes(YGTSS,TCM syndrome score)of the two groups before treatment had no statistical difference(P > 0.05),which was comparable.(2)Comparison of total effective rate: the total effective rate of the treatment group was 96.6%,which was higher than 70.00% of the control group(P < 0.05).(3)Comparison between groups after treatment: after 12 weeks of treatment,the differences between the two observation indexes in the treatment group and the control group were statistically significant(P < 0.05).The results showed that the effect of auricular point pressing beans combined with Haipai pediatric massage was better than auricular point pressing beans alone in improving the clinical symptoms of children with Tourette’s syndrome.ConclusionThe results showed that Shanghai style pediatric massage combined with auricular point bean pressing therapy and auricular point bean pressing therapy had certain curative effect on children with Tourette’s syndrome.The above statistical data show that the two treatment methods can reduce the Yale comprehensive tic severity scale(YGTSS)score and TCM syndrome score.After 12 weeks of treatment,the results showed that the effect of Haipai pediatric massage combined with auricular point pressing beans was better than that of auricular point pressing beans alone(the effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group).Shanghai style pediatric massage is easy to operate,non-invasive,green,non-toxic side effects,easy to accept and other advantages,it is worthy of clinical use and promotion.
