| ObjectiveObserve the clinical efficacy of Xiyanping injection alone,ribavirin injection and Xiyanping ribavirin injection combined with ribavirin injection in the treatment of adult acute viral pharyngitis,to determine which therapeutic regimen has the best efficacy for adult acute viral pharyngitis.At the same time,it was further observed that Xiyanping injectionhad the best effect on whichTCM syndromes ofadult acute viral pharyngitis,so as to provide more accurate clinical medication suggestions for adult acute viral pharyngitis with different syndromes.MethodsStudy 1:A randomized controlled clinical trial was conducted to observe the clinical efficacy of Xiyanping injection,Ribavirin injection and the combination of Xiyanping and ribavirin injection in the treatment of adult acute viral pharyngitis.Devidedthepatientsinto three groupsconformingto the standard by random number method,which are xi phlogistic flat,ribavirin group and xi phlogistic flat Gary waring group,xi phlogistic flat injection and ribavirin injection and xi phlogistic flat.Through intra-group comparison and inter-group comparison between the 3 days and 5 days after treatment,observed symptoms integral situation,adverse reactions,duration and treatment cost.Study 2:A prospective cohort study was conducted to observe the clinical efficacy of Xiyanping injection on adult patients with acute viral pharyngitis with three syndromes of exogenous wind-heat syndrome,exogenous wind-cold syndrome and exogenous heat in lung and stomach.Three groups of patients who met the criteria(exogenous wind-heat group,exogenous wind-cold group and lung and stomach heat group)were treated with Xiyanping injection.The symptom scores and disease course of the patients on the 3rd and 5th day after treatment were observed by intra-group comparison and inter-group comparison.ResultsStudy 1:The first day symptom scores of Xiyanping group,ribavirin group and Xiyanping plus ribavirin group were 10.87 ± 2.87,9.63 ± 2.82 and 9.68 ± 2.53.There was no significant difference between the three groups(P>0.05).The symptom score of Xiyanping group on the third day was 9.00 ± 3.43,which was significantly reduced compared with the first day(P<0.05),and the symptom score on day 5 was 3.90 ± 3.22,which was significantly reduced(P<0.01)compared with the first day and the third day.Symptom score of Xiyanping plus ribavirin group on day three was 7.68 ± 2.27,which was significantly reduced compared with day one(P<0.05),and the symptom score on day five was 3.28 ± 2.30,which was significantly less than that on day one and day three(P<0.01).In contrast,the symptom score of patients in the ribavirin group on day three was 10.11 ± 3.14,and there was no significant difference compared with day one(P>0.05),in addition,the symptom score on day five of ribavirin group was 5.48± 3.21,which was significantly reduced compared with that on day one and day three(P<0.01).In the inter-group comparison on day three after treatment,Xiyanping plus ribavirin group showed significantly better symptom relief than ribavirin group(P<0.01),while Xiyanping groups had no significant differences on ribavirin group and Xiyanping plus ribavirin group(P>0.05).On the fifth day after treatment,the symptom relief of Xiyanping and Xiyanping plus ribavirin groups was significantly better than that of ribavirin group(P<0.05),but there was no significant difference between Xiyanping and Xiyanping plus ribavirin groups(P>0.05).Compared with ribavirin group,the course of disease in Xiyanping group and Xiyanping plus ribavirin group was significantly shortened(P<0.01),while there was no significant difference between Xiyanping group and Xiyanping plus ribavirin group(P>0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reaction among the three groups(P>0.05).In the comparison of treatment cost between groups,the treatment cost of Xiyanping group and Xiyanping plus ribavirin group was significantly higher than that of ribavirin group(P<0.01),but there was no significant difference between Xiyanping group and Xiyanping plus ribavirin group(P>0.05).Study 2:The symptom scores of the exogenous wind-heat group,the exogenous wind-cold group and the lung stomach heat group on the first day were 9.33 ± 2.82,9.08 ±2.50 and 10.67 ± 2.70,respectively,and there was no significant difference between the three groups(P>0.05).The symptom score of patients in the exogenous wind-heat group on day three was 7.75± 3.00,which was significantly reduced compared with that on day one(P<0.05),and the symptom score on day five was 2.83 ± 3.03,which was significantly reduced compared with that on day one and day three(P<0.01).The symptom score of patients in the group with high fever of lung and stomach on day three was 7.83 ± 2.71,which was significantly reduced compared with that on day one(P<0.01),and the symptom score on day five was 3.46 ± 2.50,which was significantly reduced compared with that on day one and day three(P<0.01).Relatively,the symptom score of patients in the exogenous wind chill group was 8.88± 2.83 on the third day,which showed no significant difference compared with the first day(P>0.05),and 5.13 ± 2.66 on the fifth day,which was significantly reduced compared with the first and third days(P<0.01).There was no significant difference between the three groups on the third day after treatment(P>0.05).On the fifth day after treatment,the symptom relief of patients in the exogenous wind-heat group and the lung-stomach fever group was significantly better than that in the exogenous wind-cold group(P<0.05),while there was no significant difference between the exogenous wind-heat group and the lung-stomach fever group(P>0.05).Compared with the exogenous wind-cold group,the course of disease was significantly shortened in the exogenous wind-heat group and the lung-stomach fever group(P<0.05),while there was no significant difference between the exogenous wind-heat group and the lung-stomach fever group(P>0.05).ConclusionCompared with ribavirin injection,Xiyanping injection alone or combined with Xiyanping injection and ribavirin injection can effectively reduce the clinical symptoms of adult patients with acute viral pharyngitis.Especially for patients with exogenous wind heat syndrome and lung stomach heat syndrome,Xiyanping injection has a more obvious effect.In the comparison of the effect of shortening the course of disease,Xiyanping injection can effectively shorten the course of disease of patients,especially for patients with TCM syndrome type of exogenous wind-heat syndromeand hot lung and stomach syndrome.On the basis of the application of Xiyanping injection,ribavirin injection has no obvious gain in clinical efficacy.On the other hand,compared with Ribavirin injection alone,the application of Xiyanping injection or combined use of Ribavirin injection on this basis will significantly increase the treatment cost of patients,which should be considered comprehensively in clinical practice. |
