Objective:To summarize the rule and experience of Professor Li Yanning in treating tic disorder. Methods:Screening professor Li between December 2019 and December2020,a professor from shandong university of Chinese medicine affiliated hospital outpatient tic disorders of the medical record during visits,by establishing the Excel database, application of complex network data mining system,Liquorice of tic disorders in children syndromes, respectively to study the characteristics and cause of disease, the relationship between the analysis of disease-syndrome-drug.The mechanism of action of the high frequency prescription was analyzed by network pharmacology to preliminarily explore the possible target and way of treating tic disorder with traditional Chinese medicine. Results:A total of 151 cases of children with tic disorder treated by Professor Li Yanning were analyzed and sorted out, with 475 visits,involving7 syndrome types,39 prescriptions and 201 Chinese herbs.Through frequency statistics and complex network research, the following conclusions are drawn:(1)The incidence of tic disorder in children aged 7-9 years was the highest, the male to female ratio was 5.86:1,and the average course of disease was 15 months. The incidence of tic disorder was not significantly related to the birth history, personal history, and family history.Inducing or aggravating factors are emotion, diet, infection and environment,etc.(2)The etiology of tic disorder in children is mainly wind and sputum, and the disease sites are mainly liver and spleen. The clinical manifestations of tic disorders are mainly head and neck symptoms, followed by pharyngeal symptoms, limbs symptoms, trunk symptoms and complex symptoms.(3)The common witness type is the syndrome of disharmony between the liver and the spleen, followed by the syndrome of external wind induced movement, the syndrome of hyperactivity of the liver, the syndrome of fire induced by qi stagnation, the syndrome of spleen deficiency and phlegm accumulation, the syndrome of phlegm and fire disturbed the spirit, and the syndrome of Yin deficiency and wind movement.(4)The top 12 herbs were licorice, cicadae slough, silkworm,Scutellaria scutellaria,Pinellia chinensis,Bupleurum bupleurum, white peony, hookrattan, cassia twigg, scorpion, tribulus terbrius and poria.(5)The top 10 commonly used prescriptions are Chaihu Guizhi decoction,Pinelliae Magnolia Magnolia decoction,Wuhu Zaifeng powder,Dachaihu decoction,Lifeng powder,Guilou Guizhi decoction,Wendan decoction,Suanzaoren decoction,Jingfangda table decoction,Maxingshigan decoction.Based on the complex network analysis, the twitching was mainly in the head and face, and the twitching was usually combined with stiff silkworm, cicada slough, sliced turmeric and rhubarb.Eye twitch is obvious, add chrysanthemum, prunella, grain essence grass, celestial cockscomb seed, tribulus and so on;Nodding, shaking his head, twisting his neck even with pueraria root, gastrodia elata; The nose disease advocate, add angelica dahurica,Xinyi,Cang Erzi.Clearing voice and adding radix scrophulariae and Platycodonis;Laryngeal abnormal vocalizations add Shaoshen, muhudie.Shrug and kudzu;Abdominal twitch plus papaya,or large dose of Paeonia lactiflora.Sickness and limbs, add centipede, pueraria root, gastrodia elata;Extremities twitching and stir-frying Atractylodes macrocephala,Dangshen,Poria cocos, tangerine peel, etc.can be used for children with spleen deficiency syndrome, take the meaning of Sijunzi decoction.Network pharmacology, according to the analysis of bupleurum cassia twig decoction can be predicted 119 intersection targets of tic disorders in children.KEGG pathway analysis, get 107 pathway, and selected the most relevant 5 pathway: Neuroactive ligand-receptor interaction、c AMP signaling pathway、Glutamatergic synapse、Nicotine addiction、Serotonergic synapse. Conclusion:Professor Li Yanning pays attention to the differentiation of zang-fu syndrome in the treatment of tic disorder in children. He believes that the disharmony between liver and spleen is the basis of the disease, and the disturbance of wind and phlegm is the key to the attack.Although the specific causes of the disease are unknown, the physiological functions and pathological characteristics of liver and spleen are related to the factors such as emotion, diet, infection and environment.Accordingly,it is suggested that the principle of dredging the liver and regulating the spleen, resolving phlegm and reducing wind is proposed. The most frequently used prescription is the addition and subtractionof Chaihu Guizhi Decoction, which shows Professor Li Yanning’s experience in treating miscellaneous diseases by using the prescription of meridians to advocate the theory from the viscera. The network pharmacological study indicated that Chaihu-Guizi Decoction could play a therapeutic role in children with tic disorder by acting on a variety of pathways, and provided a theoretical basis for future animal experiments.
