Effect Of Buyanghuanwu Decoction Combined With Butylphthalide Capsule On Cognitive Dysfunction Of Vascular Dementia Patients With Qi Deficiency And Blood Stasis

Objective:This topic will observe the clinical efficacy and advantages of Buyang Huanwu Decoction Combined with butylphthalide soft capsule in the treatment of cognitive function of vascular dementia patients with Qi deficiency and blood stasis type,so as to provide vascular dementia patients with a definite curative effect,high safety,easy to accept,suitable for the promotion of Integrated Chinese and Western treatment.Methods:Methods:a total of 78 patients with vascular dementia in the Department of Neurology of Ruikang Hospital Affiliated to Guangxi University of traditional Chinese Medicine were collected and randomly divided into the observation group and the control group with 39 cases in each group.During the study period,4 patients were selected for shedding,and 76 patients were finally selected,38 patients in the treatment group and 38 patients in the control group.In the treatment group,there were 21 males and17 females,aged 49-73 years,with an average age of 64.56±5.20 years;in the control group,there were 18 males and 20 females,with an average age of65.33±3.47 years,aged 56-72 years.Each group was treated with butylphthalide soft capsule,and the observation group was treated with Buyang Huanwu Decoction.Before and after treatment,mental state scale(MMSE),post-stroke quality of life scale and traditional Chinese medicine syndrome were used to score,and the clinical efficacy was evaluated.Finally,further discussion and conclusion were made.Results:(1)MMSE score comparison:after treatment,MMSE score of the two groups increased significantly compared with that before treatment,P< 0.05,the difference was statistically significant.The MMSE score of the observation group increased more than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).(2)Quality of life score comparison: after treatment,the scores of quality of life scale of the two groups were increased in varying degrees,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Compared with the control group before and after treatment,P>0.05,the improvement of quality of life score in the observation group was better than that in the control group,P<0.05,the difference was statistically significant.(3)Comparison of TCM syndrome score:after treatment,the TCM syndrome score of the two groups decreased in varying degrees,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The improvement of quality of life score in the observation group was better than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).(4)MMSE clinical curative effect comparison:the effective rate of the observation group was 55.26%,the effective rate of the control group was 26.31%,it can be seen that the curative effect of the observation group was significantly better than that of the control group,P<0.05,the difference was statistically significant.(5)Comparison of the curative effect of quality of life after stroke: the effective rate of the observation group was 73.36%,and that of the control group was 60.52%.It can be seen that the curative effect of the observation group was significantly better than that of the control group,P<0.05,and the difference was statistically significant.(6)Comparison of TCM syndrome curative effect:the effective rate of the observation group was 89.47%,and that of the control group was 68.42%.It can be seen that the curative effect of the observation group was significantly better than that of the control group,P<0.05,and the difference was statistically significant.Conclusion(s): Butylphthalide soft capsule combined with Buyang Huanwu decoction is superior to butylphthalide soft capsule alone in improving the cognitive function of patients with vascular dementia,and can improve the symptoms of traditional Chinese medicine,promote the repair of nerve defect function,improve the ability of daily living and self-care,which is worthy of further promotion.
