A Study On Drugs Regularity Of Professor Wu Mianhua In The Treatment Of Radiation Proctitis Based On Data Mining Technology

Objective:To summarize the methods of syndrome differentiation and medication methodology of Professor Wu Mianhua in treating radiation proctitis,deepen understanding of the pathogenesis and pathogenic process of radiation injury,so as to provide practical guidance,enrich the therapeutic methods,improve the efficacy,and provide a wealth of ideas as well as evidence for the subsequent clinical researches along with their design.Methods:Medical records of patients receiving pelvic radiotherapy by Professor Wu Mianhua from 2016.12 through 2020.12 were collected,and the medical records met criteria according to established standards were screened out,and those data were processed in standardized approaches according to textbooks and guidelines.Afterwards,invalid and missing values were further excluded after screening.Medcase V3.2 Warehouse and Diagnosis by National Physician Medcase System was used to analyze the baseline data,gastrointestinal symptoms and other symptoms,tongue and pulse manifestations and herbs used in Chinese recipes after data cleasing,so as to explore the medication ideas and rules of tutor for differentiated treatment of radiation proctitis.Results:1.Baseline data:a total of 87 patients with radiation proctitis were included in the study,with 171 medical visits in total,among whom the proportions of patients with cervical cancer(37 cases),rectal cancer(32 cases)and prostate cancer(12 cases)ranked the top.In the rest of patients,there were 3 cases with endometrial cancer,and ureteral cancer,bladder cancer as well as pelvic solitary fibroma separately occurred in 1 case.The ratio of male to female was 1:1.56,and their age ranged from 21 to 83 years,with an average of 58.71 years.2.Commonly used drugs:a total of 197 Chinese herbs were used,among which the top ten frequently used herbs were Poria(168 times,98.25%),Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma(163 times,95.32%),Radix Glycyrrhizae Preparata(163 times,95.32%),Pseudostellariae Radix(155 times,90.64%),Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium(150 times,87.72%),Oldenlandia Diffusa(112 times,65.50%),Scutellaria Barbata(106 times,61.99%),Coicis Semen(99 times,57.31%),Ophiopogonis Radix(96 times,56.14%)and Oryzae Fructus Germinatus(90 times,52.63%).After classification in function,the total frequency analysis showed that the herbs with functions of qi tonifying,clearing heat and removing toxicity,clearing dampness and promoting diuresis,aiding digestion,qi regulating,mind calming,along with clearing heat and blood cooling were frequently applied.Association rules analysis and cluster analysis showed that 4 pairs of herb-partners by compatibility that had significant differences were included,and 5 cored prescriptions were obtained.Conclusions:1.Through data mining and analysis of prescriptions,symptoms and cancers,this dissertation summarizes Professor Wu Mianhua’s medication rules in treating radiation proctitis.Replenishing qi and nourishing yin as well as cooling blood and removing stasis are main therapeutic rules;clearing heat and removing dampness,strengthening spleen transportation and harmonizing stomach,warming yang and prevent the body from collapse and so on are important therapeutic methods.Anti-cancer and detoxification should be practiced throughout the course of disease.2.The basic pathogenesis of radiation proctitis includes dysfunction of intestine and viscera,mutual accumulation of stasis and heat,and qi consumption and yin injury.
