Objective:By observing the changes in short-term objective curative effects, tumor bio-markers,TCM syndrome score,KPS score, quality of life score, adverse reactions and safety in the treatment of patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer through Peitu Huaji prescription combined with albumin-bound paclitaxel plus platinum chemotherapy,we evaluated the advantages of traditional Chinese medicine combined with chemotherapy in the clinical comprehensive treatment of advanced non-small cell lung cancer. Methods:A total of 60 patients with stage ⅢB-Ⅳ non-small cell lung cancer with complete data and clear diagnosis were selected, based on western medicine diagnosis,TCM syndrome differentiation and inclusion and exclusion criteria. The patients were divided into the experimental group(Peitu Huaji prescription combined with albumin-bound paclitaxel plus platinum chemotherapy)and the control group(only albumin-bound paclitaxel plus platinum chemotherapy),and both group were 30 patients.Response evaluation in solid tumors, tumor bio-markers,TCM syndrome score,KPS score, quality of life score, adverse reactions and other aspects were recorded, and the above data was analyzed by SPSS 22.0.Result:1.Comparison of short-term objective curative effects:Compared between the two groups, the ORR was 20.00%and DCR was 83.33%in the experimental group, both higher than the control group’s ORR of 16.67%and DCR of 76.67%,but difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).2.Comparison of tumor bio-markers:After treatment,CEA and CY21-1 of the two groups were reduced to a certain extent, which were statistically significant(P<0.05),but there was no statistically significant difference between the groups(P>0.05).3.Comparison of TCM syndrome scores:The effective rates were 53.33%in the experimental group and 20.00%in control group after treatment. The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).4.KPS score comparison:The KPS score of the experimental group was significantly improved after the treatment, compared with the control group, and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).5.Comparison of quality of life scores:The physical function, pain, fatigue, nausea and vomiting, and loss of appetite in the experimental group were ameliorated after treatment, which were statistically significant(P<0.05);The social function and the shortness of breath after treatment of the control group were statistically significant(P<0.05);compared with the groups after treatment, the experimental one had statistical significance in fatigue and loss of appetite(P<0.05).6.Comparison of safety indicators:The incidence of adverse reactions such as neutropenia, anemia, thrombocytopenia, nausea and vomiting, peripheral neurotoxicity, and alopecia during treatment in the experimental group was lower than that in the control group, among which nausea and vomiting was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Compared with pure albumin-bound paclitaxel plus platinum chemotherapy in the treatment of advanced non-small cell lung cancer,Peitu Huaji prescription combined with albumin-bound paclitaxel plus platinum chemotherapy can alleviate the clinical symptoms of patients, improve physical strength, improve quality of life, and reduce the adverse reactions of the chemotherapy.Above all,the latter was safer.
