Background With the vigorous development of contemporary sports medicine and exercise therapy,FITT(Frequency,Intensiveness,Time,Type)exercise guiding principle with Frequency,Intensity,Time and Type as the elements was put forward in the prescribed exercise theory. The sporting concept of the crowd has changed accordingly. The number of people who exercise regularly increases and the intensity of exercise increases.Limitation of knee joint function caused by meniscus injury has a more serious impact on the quality of life of the crowd.Emerging treatment technologies other than arthroscopic surgery are also being used more and more clinically, and platelet rich plasma(PRP)is one of them.Arthroscopic suturing or resection of the meniscus remains the primary way to solve the meniscus problem in current clinical work due to its exact effect. At the same time, many experiments have been done with PRP to repair cartilage tissue damage, and the results show that PRP preparations have some effect in solving knee joint problems caused by injury of the meniscus. In the clinical application of diversified methods for the combined treatment of meniscus injuries and the optimization of treatment plans, the PRP clinical application strategy deserves further study.ObjectiveThis study compared the PRP treatment plan with the conventional arthroscopic surgery plan and the early clinical efficacy of hyaluronic acid in the treatment of meniscus injury, observed and analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of the three groups of treatment plans and the rehabilitation status,in order to elaborate the maximum benefit according to the degree of meniscus injury.Clinical strategies provide assistance to optimize the rehabilitation process of patients.MethodsA retrospective study of 120 meniscal injury patients admitted to the Department of Bone and Joint and Sports Medicine of the Hospital was conducted between September 2018 and December 2020.Subjects were randomly divided into: arthroscopy-only group(arthroscopy surgery + physiology)Intracavitary saline perfusion, called AT group),hyaluronic acid group(arthroscopic surgery + intra-articular sodium hyaluronate injection, called HA group),PRP group(arthroscopic surgery + PRP injection treatment, called PRP group),each group Patient capacity is 40 cases. Before treatment and 1 month,3 months and 6 months after treatment, measurement of range of motion of the knee joint(ROM)and specialized examinations, and the Lysholm score, the HSS score(the hospital for special surgery,HSS)and the Tegner score follow-up score, thus the effects of the three groups of programs were studied.Results97 of the 120 patients completed the full follow-up program and the remaining 23 patients did not complete the follow-up program due to various objective or subjective factors. The Lysholm scale, the HSS scale and the Tegner scale were used for the assessment and performance of the comprehensive physical examination of the joint specialist.Statistical analysis showed that the scores of each group of patients within 1 month after treatment were better than those before surgery.Comparison between groups There is no significant difference(P> 0.05)or there is a small difference. In terms of joint mobility, the PRP group is better than the HA group and both are better than the AT group;3-6 months after treatment, scores between groups begin to increase Open space, indicators of knee joint pain, range of motion and other functional changes are more obvious(P <0.05).The overall effect showed roughly a trend of PRP group> HA group> AT group. However, there were no significant differences in the detection of positive signs between the PRP group and the HA group in the short term.Obviously,at 6 months after surgery, the PRP group’s affected limb indices were better.ConclusionsAutologous platelet rich plasma(PRP)has a good early effect in promoting meniscus injury repair;Compared with simple arthroscopic surgery, the auxiliary application of PRP can significantly reduce pain for patients, speed recovery of joint function, and provide considerable early benefits.
