Study On Huang Yuanyu’s Medicinal Theory Of Typhoid Fever

Objective: to systematize Huang Yuanyu’s medicinal theory of typhoid fever,and put forward deficiencies and improvement methods,so as to provide practical and effective theoretical basis for the clinical practice of treatise on typhoid fever,and to supplement Huang Yuanyu’s theory of drug properties,so as to provide more perspective research ideas for the academic development of treatise on typhoid fever.Methods: Based on Huang Yuanyu’s main treatise on typhoid medicine,Changsha Yaojie,and Huang’s other works,this paper summarizes his academic thought and pharmacological origin,and combs his medicinal characteristics of typhoid in detail by using the research method of literature review and theoretical discussion,and takes Peng Ziyi and Zhang Xichun’s pharmacology and personal taste of drugs as the perfect supplement.Results: the systematic carding of Huang Yuan’s theory of anti typhoid medicine was completed,the origin,characteristics,shortcomings and improvement methods of Huang Yuan’s theory of anti typhoid medicine were sorted out and summarized,and the historical status and thinking of Huang Yuan’s theory of anti typhoid medicine were discussed.Conclusion: Huang Yuanyu’s medicinal theory of typhoid fever summarized all the drugs used in Treatise on typhoid fever into the framework of one qi circulation and six meridians syndrome differentiation system,which simplified the thinking of syndrome differentiation and medication of typhoid fever;Huang’s theory of invigorating middle Qi and Chongyang dethroning Yin is completely tenable in data analysis,but there is no data support for dry soil theory;Huang Yuanyu’s medicinal theory of typhoid fever also has the following advantages: to discuss medicine by prescription,to accept medicine in principle,and to teach people to recognize syndrome by pharmacology;From the whole to the part,the pharmacology of Zhongjing was detailed;The new theory of nourishing liver yin and clearing wind evil opens up a new way of understanding typhoid medication;On the same list of drug harm and benefit,clear drug taboo,do not blindly exaggerate the efficacy of drugs;Compared with similar drugs,drug application is refined;We should rectify the fallacies of our predecessors and determine the efficacy of drugs;We should pay attention to the clinical effect and abandon the exaggeration of the prescription.At the same time,Huang Yuan’s medicinal theory of resisting typhoid fever also has the shortcomings of dryness of soil,Chongyang and injury of Yin,and its pharmacology is too mechanical and metaphysical.The pharmacology of Peng Ziyi and Zhang Xichun can well supplement its shortcomings,and it is also necessary for scholars to taste drugs.
