Objective:To study serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D status of children in Changchun City and analyze its characteristics and influence factors,to provide reference basis for reasonable vitamin supplement clinically. Methods:Children aged 0-17 were randomly selected from the pediatric outpatient department of China-Japan Union Hospital of Jilin University, according to inclusion and exclusion criteria,a total of 1204 children were selected as subjects.According to age, they were divided into five groups: infant period(>28days,<1year),toddle period(1-3years),preschool age(4-6years),school age(7-11years)and adolescence(12-17years).The serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D level was determined by fluorescence immunoassay. At the same time, they were divided into spring/summer group,autumn/winter group according to the time of test. The results were statistically analyzed using SPSS 26.0 software, the average serum levels of 25-hydroxyvitamin D in children of different ages and different seasons were compared.2011 parents of 0-17-year-old children were randomly selected from all social stratum in Changchun City to fill in the questionnaire to obtain the information of their children’s age, vitamin D supplement, average outdoor exercise time and so on.Results:1.The average level of serum 25 hydroxyvitamin D in 1204 children was 27.00± 10.92ng/m L,in which the adequacy rate, deficiency rate, deficiency rate and severe deficiency rate of vitamin D were 31.06%,38.04%,30.56% and 0.33%,respectively.No excessive or insufficient vitamin D was found.2.Comparison between different age groups, the serum 25-(OH)D average level was the highest in the toddle period group, which was 32.30±11.69 ng/m L;followed by infant period group, which was 29.69±11.76ng/m L;then the preschool age(23.81±7.52ng/m L)and school age(23.43±8.26ng/m L),the serum 25-(OH)D average level was the lowest in the adolescence group, which was 20.45±7.10ng/m L.There were statistical differences in the level of 25-(OH)D status among all different age groups(P<0.05).Except there was no statistical difference in the level of serum25-(OH)D status between preschool age group and school age group, there was statistical difference in the average level of serum 25-(OH)D status between any two different age groups(P<0.05).The vitamin D sufficiency rates of infant period, toddle period, preschool age, school age and adolescence groups were 41.6%,49.6%,18.8%,14.9% and 12.0%,respectively.There were statistical differences in vitamin D adequacy among different age groups(P<0.05).3.Comparison between different seasons, the average level of serum 25-(OH)D status in children in spring/summer was 28.68±12.62ng/m L,and that in autumn/winter was 26.09±9.75ng/m L,with statistical significance(P<0.05).The vitamin D sufficiency rate in spring/summer was 38.2%,and that in autumn/winter was 27.2%,with statistical significance(P<0.05).4.Among the 2011 children in Changchun city, the rates of regular and moderate vitamin D supplementation and irregular/insufficient vitamin D supplementation showed a decreasing trend with the increase of age, while the rates of no vitamin D supplementation showed an increasing trend. The proportion of ≥1 hour outdoors per day in infant period, toddle period, preschool age, school age and adolescence children were 33.79%,57.04%,39.67%,32.90% and 17.47%,respectively.Conclusions:1.The vitamin D nutrition level of children in Changchun city is low as a whole, with the lowest in the adolescent children.2.All ages children in Changchun City need to increase outdoor activities appropriately and supplement vitamin D reasonably, especially for adolescent, school age and preschool children; It is necessary to increase the dose of vitamin D in autumn and winter.3.Vitamin D related health propaganda and education needs to be further popularized.
