Objective To observe the effect of Jinkuishenqi Pills on clinical symptoms and laboratory indicators of patients with kidney-yang deficiency syndrome on peritoneal dialysis. Methods Select patients who underwent standard continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis(CAPD)in the peritoneal dialysis clinic for TCM syndrome differentiation.Sixty-four peritoneal dialysis patients with kidney-yang deficiency syndrome were included, and they were randomly divided into 2 groups:32 cases in the control group and 32 cases in the treatment group. The control group was given basic Western medicine treatment, and the treatment group was given Jinkui Shenqi Pill combined with basic Western medicine. The treatment lasted for 12 weeks. In order to observe the clinical symptoms and signs of the two groups of patients before and after treatment, and evaluate the efficacy of Chinese medicine, compare the laboratory indicators of the two groups before and after treatment, and calculate the protein breakdown rate(nPCR),total urea clearance index(Kt/V),and Total creatinine clearance(Tccr)and residual kidney GFR,etc.Results(1)General situation:Sixty-four peritoneal dialysis patients with kidney-yang deficiency syndrome were included in the regular follow-up of the peritoneal dialysis clinic of our hospital from November 2019 to May 2020.There were 31 males(48.44%)and 33 females(51.56).%);the average age is 52.13± 10.75 years, and the average duration of abdominal dialysis is 47,81±32.59 months.(2)In terms of efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine:32 cases in the control group,1 case markedly effective,11 cases effective,20 cases ineffective, with a total effective rate of 37.5%;32 cases in the treatment group,4 cases markedly effective,23 cases effective, and 5 cases ineffective, with a total effective rate of 84.4%.The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(p<0.05).(3)Laboratory indicators:①The saturation of serum iron and transferrin in the control group was slightly higher than that before treatment, and the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05);and the saturation of serum iron and transferrin in the treatment group was higher after treatment. It was significantly increased before treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).②There was no difference in triglyceride(TG)before and after treatment, but there was a downward trend in TG in the treatment group, and the difference between the two groups before and after treatment was statistically different(P<0.001);③Hypersensitive C-reactive protein(Hs-CRP))There was no difference between the two groups before and after treatment, but the treatment group showed a downward trend and the control group had an upward trend. There was a statistical difference in the difference between the two groups before and after treatment(P<0.001).④There was no significant difference between the two groups of hemoglobin, albumin,nPCR,calcium, phosphorus,PTH before and after treatment and between the groups.(4)In terms of dialysis adequacy:The Kt/V and Tccr levels of the two groups of patients were not significantly different before and after treatment and between the groups.(5)In terms of residual renal function and residual renal urine volume:The residual kidney urine volume of the control group decreased after basic western medicine treatment compared with before treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);the treatment group received Jinkuishenqi Pill combined with basic western medicine After treatment, the urine volume of residual kidney decreased slightly compared with before treatment, and the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).(6)Safety:There were no common adverse reactions in patients within 12 weeks of this study. There was no abnormal increase or decrease in white blood cells, platelets, alanine aminotransferase, etc.before and after treatment in the two groups.Conclusion(1)Jinkuishenqi pills can improve the TCM symptoms of patients with kidney-yang deficiency in peritoneal dialysis and improve the clinical efficacy of TCM;(2)Jinkuishenqi pills can improve the serum iron and transferrin saturation of patients with kidney-yang deficiency in peritoneal dialysis, has a certain effect on reducing triglyceride and inflammation index levels;(3)Jinkuishenqi pills can delay the decrease of residual kidney urine volume in patients with kidney-yang deficiency sundrome on peritoneal dialysis.
