On Clinical Observation On Treatment Of Hashimoto Thyroiditis Associated With Thyroid Nodule From The Perspective Of "Wind Pathogen"

Objective:To treat hashimoto thyroiditis associated with thyroid nodule(stagnation syndrome of liver qi and splenic asthenia and obstruct of wind-phlegm-static blood)from the perspective of “wind pathogen”,this study proposed a new method which prescribed Eliminating Goitre Powder for dispelling pathogenic wind and eliminating phlegm and treated with the methods of invigorating spleen and soothing liver,removing blood stasis and resoliving phlegm decoction and expelling wind to dredge collateral.By objectively evaluating its clinical efficacy and safety,it provides a new theoretical breakthrough for clinical treatment.Methods: In line with the randomized and controlled test method,72 cases meeting the inclusion standard were divided into 2 groups,namely 36 cases in the control group,while 36 cases in treatment group.Both groups were treated with basic treatment.The control group was treated with Selenious Yeast Tablets and Selfheal Granules,and the treatment group was treated with Eliminating Goitre Powder for dispelling pathogenic wind and eliminating phlegm.The two groups took 4 weeks as a course of treatment,and total 3 courses of treatment were observed.The data before and after treatment were recorded and analyzed,including the concentration of thyroid peroxidase antibody(TPOAb),thyroglobulin antibody(TGAb),the diameter of thyroid nodules under Color Doppler ultrasound and TCM syndrome score.All data will be analyzed and calculated by SPSS24.0 software.Results: 1.After taking the treatment,9 cases were significantly effective,17 cases were effective and 4 cases were ineffective in the treatment group,with a total effective rate of86.7%;3 cases were significantly effective,16 cases were effective and 11 cases were ineffective in the control group,with a total effective rate of 63.3%.Thus the result of the treatment group was better than that of the control group(P < 0.05).2.The concentration of thyroid peroxidase antibody(TPOAb),thyroglobulin antibody(TGAb),diameter of thyroid nodules under Color Doppler ultrasound and TCM syndrome score were improved in both groups before and after treatment(P < 0.05),and the treatment group was better than the control group(P < 0.05).3.After comparing,there was no significant difference in thyroid function(TSH,FT3,FT4)between the two groups before and after treatment(P > 0.05),and no adverse reaction such as allergy,toxicity and so on have been found.Conclusion: This study shows that the treatment of hashimoto thyroiditis associated with thyroid nodule from the perspective of “wind pathogen” by using methods of invigorating spleen and soothing liver,removing blood stasis and resolving phlegm decoction and expelling wind to dredge collateral can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of patients,reduce the concentration of thyroid peroxidase antibody(TPOAb)and thyroglobulin antibody(TGAb),and reduce the diameter of benign nodules under Color Doppler ultrasound.There was no significant change in thyroid function before and after treatment,and no adverse reactions and safety problems were found in the process of treatment,which is worthy of further promotion and application.
