Objective:The clinical data of 115 patients with small cell lung cancer(SCLC)were retrospectively analyzed to explore the risk factors affecting the prognosis of SCLC patients and to provide reference for predicting the curative effect and prognosis of SCLC patients. Methods:To collate the clinical data of 115 patients with pathologically diagnosed SCLC in the second Hospital of Jilin University from January 1,2015 to January 1,2019,including age, sex, smoking history, disease stage, number of chemotherapy cycles, treatment plan, whether there is brain metastasis, the levels of sodium ion,neuron-specific enolase(NSE),neutrophils,lymphocytes,C-reactive protein(CRP),lactate dehydrogenase(LDH)and creatinine(Cre)were measured at the first visit, and the patients were followed up.The median survival time and the survival rate of 6 months,12 months and 24 months were analyzed by IBM SPSS 25.0 statistical software. The single and multiple factors affecting the survival of patients were analyzed by Log-Rank test and COX proportional hazard model.P < 0.05 indicates that the difference was statistically significant.Results:(1)Follow-up to January 1,2021,17 of the 115 patients with SCLC survived(14.8%),98 of them died(85.2%),with the shortest survival of 2 months and the longest survival of51 months.(2)The median survival time of 115 SCLC patients was about 14 months; The 6-month survival rate was 88.7%.The 12-month survival rate was about 60.0%.The survival rate at 24 months was 23.5%.(3)Univariate analysis: smoking history, disease staging(American Veterans Staging and AJCC staging),age, number of chemotherapy cycles, treatment regimen, brain metastasis,NSE,CRP,LDH and Cre levels at the first visit had influence on the survival time of the patients(P<0.05).(4)Sex,the level of sodium ion and NLR at the first visit had no effect on the survival time of the patients(P>0.05).(5)Cox multivariate analysis: smoking history,NSE,CRP,Cre levels at the first diagnosis, and AJCC staging were independent prognostic factors affecting the survival of patients.Conclusions:(1)SCLC is a type of lung cancer with short survival time and high mortality.(2)High levels of NSE,CRP,LDH,and Cre at first diagnosis are associated with poor prognosis of SCLC.(3)Smoking,late staging, older age, brain metastasis, chemotherapy without radiotherapy and insufficient treatment cycles are closely related to the survival time of patients.(4)Smoking,late staging, high levels of CRP,NSE and Cre were independent prognostic factors affecting the survival of small cell lung cancer.
