Objective: The purpose of this study is to observe the clinical effect of wax therapy combined with traditional Chinese medicine on patients with lumbar disc herniation with blood stasis and qi stagnation.Methods: A total of 100 patients with lumbar disc herniation with blood stasis and qi stagnation were selected from the department of acupuncture and moxibustion of a Grade III hospital of traditional Chinese medicine in Changchun City.2 patients appeared shedding during the study,49 patients in the intervention group and 49 patients in the control group.The control group received routine treatment and routine nursing intervention,the intervention group in the routine treatment and routine nursing intervention on the basis of wax therapy supplemented with traditional Chinese medicine.The efficacy was evaluated by VAS pain score,JOA score and TCM syndrome score before and after intervention.Correlation analysis of data was completed by SPSS20.0 statistical software,and P < 0.05 indicated statistically significant difference.Results: The gender,age,time of disease and other general information of the intervention group and the control group were compared,and the difference was not statistically significant(P﹥0.05),the two groups were comparable.After intervention,VAS score,JOA score and TCM syndrome score in the intervention group and control group were all better than before intervention,and the differences between the two groups were statistically significant(P﹤0.05).After intervention,there was no significant difference in the VAS scores between the intervention group and the control group(P﹥0.05).After intervention,the JOA score and TCM syndrome score in the intervention group were better than those in the control group,with statistical significance(P﹤0.05).After intervention,the number of patients with blood stasis and qi stagnation LDH in the intervention group was higher than that in the control group in terms of recovery,remarkable effect and effective cases,and the number of invalid cases in the intervention group was also lower than that in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P﹤0.05).Conclusion: in the conventional treatment and routine nursing interventions on the basis of giving kerotherapy supplemented by traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)coated on blood stasis and qi in terms of pain relief in patients with lumbar disc prolapse with simple routine therapy plus routine nursing intervention has a similar effect,on the basis of routine treatment and routine nursing interventions on giving kerotherapy supplemented by traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)coated on patients with blood stasis and qi stagnation type lumbar intervertebral disc protrusion in improving the blood stasis caused by the quality of life aspects and lumbar intervertebral disc protrusion and relieve symptoms of TCM conditions were superior to simply routine therapy plus routine nursing intervention. |
