Objective:This study used questionnaires to understand the current status of chronic disease health literacy and compliance behaviors of middle-aged and young people with type 2diabetes,and analyzed the correlation between chronic disease health literacy and compliance behaviors of middle-aged and young people with type 2 diabetes, with a view to improving middle-aged and young people with type 2 diabetes.Chronic disease health literacy can improve patients’ compliance behaviors and provide a theoretical basis for clinically improving the chronic disease health literacy level of young and middle-aged patients with type 2 diabetes. Methods:Convenience sampling selected 429 middle-aged and young patients with type 2diabetes who were hospitalized in the endocrinology department of a tertiary A hospital in Changchun and met the diagnostic inclusion and exclusion criteria. The survey tools include:General Information Questionnaire,Chronic Disease Health Literacy Scale,Physical Activity Scale,Medication Compliance Scale, and Eating Behavior Compliance Assessment Scale. The measurement data is described by the mean and standard deviation;the count data is described by the number of cases and the percentage;according to the data type of the general data, the t test,Kruskal-Wallis non-parametric rank test or one-way analysis of variance is used to compare the health literacy of patients with chronic diseases Differences in demographic characteristics;through multiple linear regression analysis of the main factors affecting the health literacy of patients with chronic diseases;through Spearman correlation analysis to explore the relationship between health literacy of chronic diseases and physical activity, medication compliance and dietary compliance in young and middle-aged patients with type 2 diabetes relationship.Results:1.The total score of chronic disease health literacy of young and middle-aged type 2diabetes patients is(92.48±8.05)points,and 140 patients(32.6%)have adequate health literacy.2.The average metabolic equivalent value of the total score of physical activity in young and middle-aged type 2 diabetes patients is(3686.89±2492.38)MET-min/week,the medication compliance score is(4.76±1.53),and the diet compliance score is(57.37±6.57).3.The results of single factor analysis showed that the chronic disease health literacy of young and middle-aged patients with type 2 diabetes had statistical differences in eight aspects: gender, marital status, education level, occupation, family monthly income, number of hospitalizations, duration of disease, and treatment methods(P< 0.05).4.The results of multivariate analysis showed that the chronic disease health literacy of young and middle-aged type 2 diabetes patients had statistical differences in five aspects:education level, marital status, number of hospitalizations, duration of illness, and family monthly income per capita(P<0.05).5.The results of correlation analysis showed that the health literacy of chronic diseases of middle-aged and young patients with type 2 diabetes was positively correlated with physical activity in leisure and transportation in compliance behaviors(P<0.05),and was not correlated with physical activity in work and housework.Significant(P>0.05);positively correlated with medication compliance and diet compliance(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Middle-aged and young type 2 diabetes patients have a low level of chronic health literacy;More than half of the patients with physical activity in medical compliance were moderate physical activity, medication compliance and diet compliance were in the middle and low level.2.The influencing factors of chronic disease health literacy of young and middle-aged type 2 diabetes patients with different demographic characteristics are education level, marital status, number of hospitalizations, duration of illness, family monthly income, gender, occupation and treatment methods.3.The chronic health literacy of young and middle-aged type 2 diabetes patients was positively correlated with physical activity in leisure and transportation, but not significantly correlated with physical activity in work and housework; Was positively correlated with medication compliance; Was positively correlated with dietary compliance.
