| ObjectiveBy studying the clinical effect of using concentrated growth factors(CGF)in combination with bone powder and biofilm or using bone powder and biofilm alone in the removal of odontogenic jaw cyst, the aim of this study is to evaluate which option is more effective for the recovery of patients with odontogenic jaw cyst removal.lt provides a new idea and method for clinical workers to treat bone defect after operation.MethodsA total of 118 patients with odontogenic jaw cyst who were admitted to the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery of the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from September 2018 to February 2020 were selected according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria, including 70 males and 48 females.Preoperative Cone Beam Computer Tomography(CBCT)was performed in all patients, and one-time root canal filling was performed for the affected teeth involved in the cyst. All patients were divided into experimental group and control group according to the principle of random distribution. In the extraction of jaw cyst,CGF combined with bone meal and biofilm was used in the bone cavity of the experimental group, while bone meal and biofilm were used only in the bone cavity of the control group.CBCT was reexamined 3,6 and 12 months after surgery in both groups.Bone mineral density in the bone defect area was measured and recorded, which was expressed by HU value. The HU value of curved body laminate and CBCT on the three-dimensional plane was statistically compared and analyzed to evaluate the effect of bone recovery in patients.Results1 Comparison of general situationsAll 118 patients included in the study had stage I wound healing after surgery, and no cyst recurrence was observed after one-year follow-up review. The sex and cyst site of the experimental group and the control group were tested by chi-square test, and the age and cyst size were tested by non-parametric rank sum test. The statistical results showed that there were no statistically significant differences in age, sex, cyst size and cyst site between the two groups(P>0.05).2 General observation of image resultsBy comparing and observing the CBCT three-dimensional images of patients in the two groups at 3,6 and 12 months after surgery,we can see that trabecular bone formation and new bone density in the experimental group are better than those in the control group at the same time, and the rate of bone formation in the defect area in the experimental group is faster than that in the control group.3 Measurement and Analysis of Curved Body Sheet and CBCT Three-Dimensional PlaneAt 3 months after surgery,6 months after surgery and 12 months after surgery, the HU values of the curved laminogram and the three-dimensional plane of CBCT of the bone defect area in the experimental group were significantly higher than those in the control group at the same period, and the differences in the HU values of the curved laminogram and the three-dimensional plane of CBCT between the two groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).ConclusionsIn this study, compared with the patients who only used bone meal and biofilm, the use of CGF combined with bone meal and biofilm improved the quality of bone formation, shortened the recovery time of bone, and achieved good osteogenic effect in the removal of odontogenic jaw cyst. Therefore, the use of CGF combined with bone meal and biofilm is more conducive to bone recovery in patients with odontogenic jaw cyst removal operation, which provides a new idea for clinical treatment. |
